Primitive grass tent or RV campsite

Liked Could not fault it, great clean hot showers, toilets and washing up room with microwave and kettle if needed. Great honesty shop too with all the essentials there, though one of us is vegan and a small amount of vegan options would be a bonus, but we were fully stocked up in van so didn't need to use 😁😁

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass tent or RV campsite

Liked The campsite was perfect for us, clean toilets & washing facilities & kitchen , bonus was the honesty shop ! Leading straight onto some beautiful walks perfect for us and the dogs - the staff were so lovely and welcoming , I have a reactive dog & they respected his space and also managed to give him a treat out of their hand !

Disliked Nothing to dislike at all!

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite

Liked The peaceful location
The excellent new toilet and shower facilities
The little kitchen area with kettle, fridge/ freezer and microwave
The view and access to cinder track and coast path
The location, away from the noise and bustle of Whitby and Scarborough. Within cycling distance of both on the Cinder Track

Disliked The plots are close together so if you have noisy neighbours who want to stay up late talking and laughing it's hard to get to sleep. Bring ear plugs just in case.

From the manager: Hi.
Thank you for your review & we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.
We do have a period of quiet between 11pm & 7am - this is normally very well respected.
It seems like we had one couple this weekend not respecting this - Had we been made aware we would have resolved this as, we pride ourselves on being peaceful here at Valley View.
Again, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay with us & thank you for taking the time to review us. All feedback is greatly received.
Thanks.
