What customers say

This exceptionally clean, well-maintained woodland site gets rave reviews for its peaceful vibe, spacious spots, and top-notch facilities. Dog walkers love the secure field and trails. Friendly staff and proximity to Whitby are big pluses. Some note occasional shower temp/sensor issues and spotty mobile signal.

Powered cement/asphalt RV campsite (adults only)

Liked Friendly & helpful reception, easy to find & good access, shown to our pitch, quiet & peaceful, well cared for site, spotless facilities at all times, good location to tour from, pleasant circular walk around the site.

Disliked The motorhome pitches don't get much sun at all due to it being a woodland site, apart from that it's perfection.

From the manager: Afternoon

Thank you for your 10/10 score, we are so glad you enjoyed Ladycross.

Just a reminder to everyone we are in the sticks and slow to catch up with the rest of world, we appreciate that can be frustrating so please be mindful of what you are looking for when you come here as technology is not always the best, but it can be quite nice at times!

Thanks again
Lisa

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite

Liked Peacefulness. Immaculately kept. Stunning dog walking facilities. You can combine a lengthy woodland walk all round the outskirts of the park with a play in the huge dog field with your pooch. Such a beautiful site. Will definitely return.

Disliked One really tiny point is that the showers were a little frustrating. Took a while to warm up and the sensors didn’t always react immediately so you got a bit cold. Lovely once you got the hang of them.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely review, sorry about the showers but I hope it doesn't put you of returning!

With time we are hoping to extend the walks around the park through the woodland, and upkeep the existing ones with fresh woodchip to make them clearer... the woodland is priceless here at Ladycross, this morning on my run I saw a couple of deer, large hares and a buzzard!

Thanks again

Powered cement/asphalt RV campsite (adults only)

Liked Very clean, well kept, large pitches, very quiet and relaxed site. Large woodland within site grounds for walking in.

Disliked Shower is a bit too hot and you cannot change it

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your great review, we have had some great weather!

I have taken note of the shower issue, we have to set it to a certain temperature but when the weather heats up it does change a couple of factors and its a fine art trying to balance this so my apologies.
