What customers say
This campsite offers a beautiful location with stunning views and clean, well-kept facilities, especially showers and restrooms. Guests often rave about the friendly staff and on-site pub, cafe, and amenities like the pool and spa. A frequent mention is the lack of car access to pitches, requiring trolleys. Some noted occasional toilet paper shortages and limited trolley availability during peak times.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked the toilet block was clean and very warm! Radiators on which felt toasty. Washing up liquid provided v good! Lots of water points and everything very accessible. Cafe nice. Pizza good but avoid garlic bread as it was v dry! On site pub great for a drink and food was standard pub food! Nice scenery, bunnies were cute and like the ducks too.
Disliked not enough trolleys to unload and reload car so it took absolutely ages to set up and take down. The leisure centre was fully booked when we arrived which was a real shame as this was one of the main reasons we booked the campsite. A nudge to get booked in early would be nice on booking.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Great facilities, clean toilets/showers, pub on site and café was fantastic for breakfast. Never struggled to get a drink or food, no long waits. Visited August 2026.
Disliked Could do with more trolleys to carry things from the car to the tent.

Fabulous stay
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked We had a wonderful camping trip at Long Ashes Park. Beautiful place with great facilities.
Disliked The only downside was not being able to park next to our tent. I had equipment that required the car for blowing up the bed including during the night if the bed went down a bit so this was a bit inconvenient.
