Me gustó Good location - close to cute villages and not too far out of the cities. Clean facilities, friendly staff. Got phone signal on the field.

No me gustó Can't park your car next to the tent, although the walk to the field isnt too long and there are trollies.

The spa facilities are a bit outdated and felt a bit grubby, not spa like at all, more like a swimming pool with a sauna and steam room rather than a spa with a swimming pool (wasn't the worst I was just expecting more)

The camping field is small and doesn't feel very private, better for families and children rather than young couples!

Bit expensive,given this (paid £72 for 2 nights)

Me gustó The camping field had wonderful views and wildlife.
Great toilets and shower block.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Nice pub on site.
Didnt check WiFi but had plenty of signal.

No me gustó Swimming was expensive even at half price. £30 for a family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids.
2 hrs in the pool but kids could only use half the pool none of the other facilities.

Could do with some more trollies for taking camping gear to the campsite. We luckily turned up and left at the right time. But others wear struggling as only two trollies available.

Me gustó Site was well maintained and the camping field has a lovely view down the valley. The facilities are great and the staff were always helpful. The toilets and showers facilites were clean and had hot water. The breakfast and drinks from the cafe were good and reasonably priced. Great spot for access to Grassington and great walking / hiking destinations. Will definitely be back.

No me gustó I think a clearer note in the booking information regarding additional costs for the use of the pool would be useful.

Me gustó The whole site is gorgeous. The cafe and pub were great and the food was lovely. From checking in, the staff at the leisure facilities and in the pub (particularly the weekly Wednesday quiz host) were so friendly and welcoming. The leisure facilities were an added bonus and the toilets and showers were lovely and clean every use.

Me gustó Lovely campsite with great facilities! Our pitch looked on to the lake which was beautiful. Toilets/showers were clean. The pub/restaurant was great to have onsite. We didn’t use the pool or spa this time but fantastic to have as an option! It was a very peaceful stay, could only hear and see nature from our spot and the staff were lovely and friendly! Will definitely come back!

No me gustó The only downside was not being able to park the car by the tent as going to and from the car park to the pitch in the heat was a bit of a ballache, there should have been some trolleys but there were none available to us at the time and it’s much more convenient to have the car at the pitch but that’s my only criticism!

Me gustó We visited as a group of families and had no trouble setting up close to one another. Despite the campsite being fully booked, the field felt spacious and never overcrowded. The site itself is in a beautiful, peaceful location. There’s a Spar garage with an on-site butcher within walking distance, and a footpath through the fields means you don’t need to walk along the road.

No me gustó Cars aren’t allowed on the camping field, and while the car park isn’t far, the limited number of trolleys meant set-up and pack-down took longer than usual. There are only four shower rooms (each with a toilet and sink) plus one extra toilet, so queues were common at busy times. Although cleaned regularly, some showers and toilet seats were broken, there was no hand soap, and a small shelf or extra pegs in the showers would be helpful.

The takeaway pizzas from the café were very dry and disappointing. We also ate at the pub, where the service was poor, no greeting, no drink check-ins, and an incorrect bill. A child with a dairy intolerance was given a regular brownie and ice cream without checks, which was concerning, though we caught it in time. I later emailed feedback but never received a response.
