What customers say
This family farm campsite gets rave reviews for its friendly hosts, lots of animals, and safe, tidy grounds. Pitches are spacious with easy hookups. Most facilities are clean, though some found shower stalls small. Great for exploring. Occasional road noise, but usually not a problem.

Power optional grass campervan or tent campsite
Liked The animals on the farm, my kids absolutely loved going to see them all day long. Location is lovely, nice and quiet. Secure site so no one can enter.
Disliked The lady who owned it didn’t really take a shine to us. Because we arrived early we had to pay an extra £10 each to get in early. We didn’t realise you had to pay an extra £10 for a pup tent, although the only reason we brought it was so our two youngest could go to the toilet during the night rather than walking across the field to the toilet. The sewerage smell coming from the toilets was absolutely vile! Couldn’t park cars next to the tents while staying there. Vending machine was extremely expensive £2 for a pack of super noodles and £1 for a tiny box of cereal. £1 donation to use the showers. Didn’t hardly see the owners only when she came to complain about something we had brought. Won’t be coming again, as we thought we were being watched all the time everything we did she wasn’t pleased with. Just total greed.

Great site, plenty of space, and family friendly! Will be returning 🩷
Power optional grass campervan or tent campsite
Liked We loved the site, my daughter had THE best time, looking at the animals, feeding the animals, she made lots of new friends, there was plenty of space for her to play and explore safely.
Disliked There was only 2 toilets, so when the site was busier there was always a queue as some people used them as dressing rooms to get dressed, apply makeup etc which obviously took time.
We also never saw the owners!, There is a number you can text if you need anything though, however the last few people to arrive had a personal greeting from them, which we never had. Would have been nice to see physical people but that’s a minor issue and didn’t spoil our fabulous time!! We will be returning here for sure!!

Liked What can I say..... Amazing!
We have just stayed here for 2 nights with our 12 year old and had a great time.
Owners Jack and Sheree were fantastic.
We arrived slightly early and kindly requested access to toilet facilities for our daughter. Sheree was more than helpful and let us straight in for toilet access. Thank you, this was hugely appreciated post surgery 2 days prior to camping!
This is a lovely intermit site, with only around 15 pitches I believe, all very well spaced out.
You can drive your car onto the grassed areas to pitch up, and then must drive it back off around 50m to the carpark. This is strict, but made the site look so tidy and so much space between each tent.
They have lots of small animals to pet, (Goats, pigs, ponies, sheep, rabbits etc) and some which can be fed. Bring some 20p for this, as they have a fab dispenser on the fences to get food for the animals to assist their diets. Some animals cannot be fed, and this is very well documented near each pen.
Goats are super friendly and roam freely for a short time on evening which my daughter loved, as did the rest of the children on site.
Toilet and shower facilities available and very clean and maintained regularly each day. Also, children seats are available to use over the toilets for comfort, and female products were a great touch from owners.
Communal fridges and a microwave, aswell as washing up sink with hot water also available, which was great in the hot weather.
Electric hook up and water points available at all pitches. Additional charge when booking for electic hook up. I would bring atleast a 10m cable to comfortably pitch your tent centrally within your pitch.
Fire pits can be purchased on site at a small cost per evening. Bags of logs and bags of kindling also can be purchased. We loved this, and again this is well documented.
The fires on an evening around the camp looked so beautiful.
Absolutely star gazing spot! The night sky was so amazing.
Quiet hours 11pm-8am.
Gate has a fantastic security opening and closing system, one I have never seen before at sites. This would provide added comfort to anyone who would worry about security in any way. No access to public.
As this is an active farm, there is alot of noise from animals from 4am. Especially pigeons, however this is out for the control of owner of course. It did not effect our stay, but would recommend bringing some earplugs is you are a light sleeper :)
All tents are situated around the border of the camp leaving a large area in the middle for children to enjoy.
It was a full camp this weekend, and went had great families and children throughout.
Very respectful.
I also wish to share that this site is literally 5 minutes drive to flamingoland, and 20mins to local beach.
There is a lidl 5 mins drive away, also a coop, and a spar garage.
Jack and sheree are very much present on the outskirts of this camp site, on there working farm, you'll see them from a distance, and have there contact numbers for any problems which they are very responsive too :)
Fantastic location, great campsite with so many little extras for the kids, amazing facilites and well maintained. We will definitely be back, and will recommend to friends and family 😁

The site was well maintained, safe and very fun for our boys who loved the animals and made some lovely friends.
There is an area with a communal fridge and microwave, clean toilets and showers.
The owners were very responsive and came to say hi when we arrived.
We will certainly be returning.

Liked The open space ,the small site ,gated ,safe, and free to roam .
Disliked The showers and toilets were dirty Most of the time ,and only 2 ladies toilets ,honestly box outside of the showers asking for £1 per shower ,which wasnt put in the booking and we wouldn't have minded if they were clean ,happy to pay a tip if they were cleaned ,.we loved the look online of the goats running free etc but they weren't allowed out which a camper did tell us some people complained which was a same . Didn't see anyone from the site at all ,only got text message or when we called we spoke to them but no owner came to see if all ok etc ,felt like they just don't care . And I wouldn't really call it a farm with 5 horse,2 pigs and 2 goats .

From the manager: Hi Donna. We are sorry to see you didn't have a great time. In response to your points:
- Our toilets and showers are thoroughly cleaned every day, and checked at different points throughout the day, however, we cannot physically clean up after every single camper uses them. We ask that campers are respectful and leave them as tidy as possible for the next camper to use but sadly this doesn't always happen. If something is not up to standard when you use them we would be more than happy to assist though we have never had to do this yet as they are clean and stocked throughout the day.
- The showers have an honesty pot, which is simply that. We maintain good water pressure and temperature, and unlike most sites, the water for showers is not timed or limited. It isn't a compulsory £1 fee, simply a gesture of good will.
- the goats love to roam, but sometimes we have to. respect that this isn't for everyone, but people can still freely see the goats at their pen.
- We are around the site multiple times per day, to feed the animals, maintain the shower blocks, welcome guests, and many other reasons. We really enjoy being out and talking to guests! This seems unfortunate that you weren't at your pitch during these times. We are a small, family run site with two young children ourselves and sometimes things have to be done via telephone - if you needed us when you spoke to us then we would have gladly been their to assist.
- We have pigs, sheep, horses, ponies, goats and rabbits. Do these kinds of animals not live on a farm?
In short, we think this is a very unfair review and score in return for your inappropriate behaviour onsite.
