Brigham Park Farm

Gostou We stayed four nights, the site was spotless, clean showers and all facilities open despite us being only people on the site, Mid week stay so site was quiet.
We preferred the seperate shower block, as signed you do have to wait for water to come up to temperature but well worth it.

The site appeared very secure, due to being gated, we found the access system very ease to use, via phone.

Electric hook up and a dedicated water supply to each individual pitch was an impressive bonus, no long trek to standpipes etc. the site is well located for access into Pickering and beyond.
We found the owners to be friendly and helpful.


Thank you for a great midweek break in a great area of the country, great site good value, would definitely use again if staying in that part of North Yorkshire.

Gostou This site was brilliant. My children loved it, as did me and my husband. The goats are so cute and friendly. Ice cream van came to the camp site, there's a lovely pub a five minute walk down the road. Hiring a fire pit was really easy and you get lots of wood and kindling. Having little ones running around, it's good that cars are parked away from tents. The owners were helpful and it was nice at the end of our stay that he went round to speak to each pitch individually 😊 we will definitely be back again!! Would highly recommend!!

Great location (Pickering 5 mins, Helmsley & York 20 mins, Whitby & Scarborough 30 mins)
Little forest area to walk dogs
Friendly staff

Firepit available to hire for your stay
Horses, pony, rabbits and goats to see
Gated access for security (access number is given when checking in)

Não gostou The owners let their two goats roam the campsite of an evening, great for the kids (and the grass) however our dog who was on a ground lead by the tent, didn't appreciate them coming up to our tent and when he approached them, one did lunge at him with their horns, no harm done as it missed but just made us jump a little.
There is an honesty box outside the shower block asking for a £1 per shower, I have never seen this at any other campsite, once you have paid the price for your stay and EHU you expect that to include the basic facilities.
Only one sink for cleaning pots but it worked during our stay, semi busy.

Gostou Small camp site so not too many people. Ample and clean facilities. Secure gate so only campers can access the site. Small animal holding for people to see. Upon arrival I was informed I had not booked an electric pitch, the owners changed this, for an extra fee, to electric with no problems.

Não gostou Upon arrival we were told we had to keep our dogs on leads and supervised at all times ( which is the case for the majority of campsites we have visited so we had no problem with this.) The owners dogs however are not on lead. We were placed right at the back of the field, furthest away from the entrance. Lovely little spot. On the second day, the owners dog was free roaming the field, approached our tent and had a poo right outside it, which i had to clean up. It then proceeded to try and enter our tent, which also had a windbreak around the front, and approach our dogs. Our dogs were not at all happy about this "intuder". I must state the dog itself was lovely and friendly, but there was no owner in sight. Luckily we had followed the rules and managed to keep our dogs away from it with their leads. Our dogs are friendly and often play with other dogs when we are on walks etc, but when it comes to what they believe is their "turf" ie the tent, they dont apreciate unknown animals entering. On the third day, we were sat outside our tent with our dogs, and the owners 2 goats were trotting across the field, with the owners in tow. We had to rush our dogs inside so as to not see the goats coming. Although it was nice to see these goats greeting the other campers, a little heads up from the owners that this is what they do, would have been the appropriate thing to do. After looking at other reviews, this is a regular thing. Although the facilities were clean, the covering on the windows had scratched off in some small spots, so when on the toilet or having a shower, you can clearly see directly outside. These could do with being replaced. The windows also did not lock so could easily be opened from the outside just by sliding across.

Gostou The facilities where lovely and clean, the animals where a great hit with my kids and the goats roaming free where brilliant 👏.
Overall we will definitely be back!
Lovely clean family friendly site!
I also liked the fact the gate was only accessible by those camping it made it feel more secure and safe!
We are a family with 2 adult and 4 kids age ranging from 13 to 3 and all of us enjoyed it.

Gostou Peaceful area, water tap on each pitch, very cute farm animals around, clean bathrooms/showers, quick response time when contacted. All round lovely stay.

Gostou We arrived on Friday night for the weekend. The owner was very friendly and gave us all of the information about the site when we arrived.

We have a 6 man tent, the pitches are very spacious which we liked.
The facilities were well equipped for what we required.
The little ones loved to see the chickens and the rabbit as well as feeding the friendly goats.
We had two dogs with us and the dog walking area over the busy road was great to let them have a good run around.
There was also a lovely pub and beer garden just a short walk away.
We enjoyed our stay and will be returning next year.

Gostou Had a lovely stay although the rain put us off for the last night as it absolutely drowned us so came home a night early! 😂 - would defo come back though. Shower facilities and toilets were spotless - animals were super friendly, helped our 17 week old puppy get used to people and animals, everyone was super welcoming thank you so much for our stay here x

Gostou Absolutely loved our stay here! A must for families! The adorable farm animals were perfect for our children, they didn’t want to leave the site! Everything you need in one place. Thankyou for a lovely stay! Can’t wait to come back!
