What customers say
This charming, family-run site is praised for its peaceful vibe, spacious pitches with hookups, and consistently clean facilities. Welcoming owners are a highlight. While toilets can be limited during peak times, it's great value for families and dog owners, and well-located for hikes. Management addresses any concerns.

From the manager: Thank you for your comments. We are pleased to say that as of 16th May 2026 we have now opened our ladies toilet block, this means our facilities are now separate - we now have 2 ladies toilets, 2 gents toilets along with the individual toilet in the family shower room.

From the manager: It always amazes me when guests leave a review almost 2 months after visiting our site.
You can see from other guest reviews how clean and tidy the facilities are - these reviews where made at the same time of year as your booking. During the hight of summer the facilities are cleaned and restocked at 10am and 4pm and checked regularly throughout the day. Im not quite sure what you are basing your review on?
For a one night stay paying £25 including electric, a large pitch, private water tap, plenty of showers and toilets how this can not be value for money?
Good luck finding a site that is as well kept as ours for the same money.

Lovely site 😃
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely site with well maintained pitches. Owner was lovely and came around on our second day to check in with us. Well kept toilet block with two toilets and two showers, plus a family room and washing up area. Great that you can rent fire pits and sit out.
Disliked The only thing we disliked was the local town itself - I think we were a bit too young for it all and definitely brought down the average age! However the site itself is in a lovely quiet spot with lots of great walks straight out the gate.
