Raring to go for a rural break in north Norfolk, with a little coast on the side? That’s no problem at NEPC Caravan and Camping Site. Based in a very quiet and rural north Norfolk field with horses for neighbours, hiking fans and those seeking the sand and seaside will be in their element. Take off on one of the walks directly from the site or map your way out to the miles of footpaths and trails in the local area. Where to? Well, perhaps Bacton Wood (10 minutes) for strolls and picnics or to the splendidly scenic North Walsham & Dilham Canal, 15 minutes’ drive away. The Norfolk Broads and Cromer are both around 20 minutes’ drive away too. Toilets and showers are available on site, so you'll have some simple facilities to use at the end of a day of adventures. Potter down to the closest pub, which is half an hour’s walk away, or track down tasty country pub eats, fish and chips and beer by the sea in Mundesley (10 minutes). There’s a butchers 15 minutes’ walk away for fresh meat and bistros and gourmet joints in the surrounding area too. North Walsham, five minutes’ drive away, is especially suited to foodies, as it has supermarkets, shops and cafés as well as a library and a bank. With all the walks and the outdoor activities around, dogs are welcome at NEPC Caravan and Camping Site (just keep them on a lead around livestock). Other very handy facilities on site include a chemical disposal point, wifi and grey water disposal points.

Power optional grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked The shower and toilet cabins were compact and very clean. There was also a little heater in each one and the showers were lovely and warm. It was also very helpful the site had no cut off arrival time so we could travel there without rushing the evening.
The site was in a remote location and there was lots of wildlife to be heard such as barn owls, screech owls and foxes which was amazing to hear so clearly, although had trouble sleeping as the calls echoed across the site all night.

Disliked Although we didn't have to wait if the site was busier only 2 toilets/showers in the field would have meant waiting around.

Liked Peace and quiet, idealic surroundings. Great value for money. Massive pitch for reasonable price.
Hosts very amenable allowing for an extra vehicle and easily contactable when needed.
Beautiful little weekend away and will definitely be booking again.

Disliked Mop bucket in bathroom needed changing more often but didn't hinder the holiday in anyway

FHU grass campsite (hot tub)

Liked Nice quiet site, fantastic views from the pitches. Very clean and well kept.
Hot tub was fully ready for use on arrival, left us with the supply’s if needed to adjust ph etc. toilet blocks where well maintained and shower pressure was amazing. Field it self was well maintained and well looked after. Had a fabulous weekend, and very pleased with the campsite. Free WiFi which was a nice surprise, with amazing signal all weekend.
Pitch size were generous with space with plenty of room for all your needs

Disliked Nothing really to do with the camp site it self, more of a go steady as the entrance is down a tight rural road.

Liked Everything, amenities were clean, modern, loved the powerful shower wasnt expecting that, Everything was conveniently located. The pitches are are great size, well spaced out, enables you to have some privacy.
Beautiful scenery, amazing area that its situated in and on, so peaceful, which added to a relaxing and chilled experience.
Lovely to have the horses out in the fields, saw rabbits, deer, could hear other wildlife and birds, just perfect xx

The owner checked in and was available but wasnt imposing.

Disliked Absolutely nothing to dislike about this site.

Straight off to the sea, you might very well be, with Cromer’s seaside amusements and pier (20 minutes’ drive) being so easy to get to. In August, Cromer hosts a carnival week and there are fireworks on New Year’s Day (weather permitting). Sheringham (half an hour) is excellent too, especially its fun pool, gardens and old-school North Norfolk Steam Railway. For wildlife encounters, head to the Cley Marshes Visitor Centre (40 minutes), near Cley next the Sea. Another spot is Blakeney (40 minutes), which has England’s largest grey seal colony. You might fancy a visit to the so-called capital of the Norfolk Broads, Wroxham (half an hour), where there’s daily boat hire, river trips, riverside cafés, pubs and shops. The city of Norwich (45 minutes), has a castle museum, a cathedral, excellent shopping, a theatre, art galleries, cafés, pubs and restaurants, of course. And what else? Perhaps the historical Blickling Hall (20 minutes) or family-friendly attractions like the Banham Zoological Gardens (an hour and 10 minutes), Wroxham Barns (20 minutes) craft centre and play park, Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure (40 minutes) and BeWILDerwood Norfolk (20 minutes)?
