Liked This site was really nice, the showers and toilets were always clean and tidy. It’s a really quiet area, and at the top of the campsite there’s a stand where you can get freshly made cookies and things we had a bueno cookie and it was gorgeous l.

Disliked I found it difficult to find the campsite off the main road.

FHU grass campsite (hot tub)

Liked Everything,been coming each year and improving each time regards facilities,we had the hot tub pitch in our favourite corner which is a fabulous addition to the stay ,it's a quiet camping site the pitches are very generous in the countryside with great owners !

Liked This is a great site. It is quite isolated however there is a good bus service at the end of the road. Idea for the family who want to get away and immerse themselves in the countryside. All the facilities are on site but non of the unnecessary. Walks around the site are on nearly traffic free roads. There is a good sized central field for kids to play. 15 cycle into North Walsham on quiet roads.

Liked Lovely pitch..super quite...grounds are kept well...very peaceful..nicely spaced out..nice patch in the middle for evening games and socialising with other campers....plenty of hot water..fantastic wifi too

Disliked Felt the toilet and shower let it down a little with the crack in the shower tray the room fills up with water then you had no where to dry as shower tray filled up too...as it was so blocked with hair...could do with a deep descale and bleach maybe wooden shower tray to stand on once out...

From the manager: Sorry the shower tray was actually broken which we didn't realise due to multiple people getting in the shower together hence why it was flooding the floor! The shower tray has been replaced. Sorry for any inconvenience and hope to see you again in the future. Thanks :)

Liked Beautiful, peaceful site. 2 toilets with showers and washing up facilities available. Free WiFi was such a lovely bonus. Any questions or queries were answered super prompt and we're really friendly.

Local attractions

Straight off to the sea, you might very well be, with Cromer’s seaside amusements and pier (20 minutes’ drive) being so easy to get to. In August, Cromer hosts a carnival week and there are fireworks on New Year’s Day (weather permitting). Sheringham (half an hour) is excellent too, especially its fun pool, gardens and old-school North Norfolk Steam Railway. For wildlife encounters, head to the Cley Marshes Visitor Centre (40 minutes), near Cley next the Sea. Another spot is Blakeney (40 minutes), which has England’s largest grey seal colony. You might fancy a visit to the so-called capital of the Norfolk Broads, Wroxham (half an hour), where there’s daily boat hire, river trips, riverside cafés, pubs and shops. The city of Norwich (45 minutes), has a castle museum, a cathedral, excellent shopping, a theatre, art galleries, cafés, pubs and restaurants, of course. And what else? Perhaps the historical Blickling Hall (20 minutes) or family-friendly attractions like the Banham Zoological Gardens (an hour and 10 minutes), Wroxham Barns (20 minutes) craft centre and play park, Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure (40 minutes) and BeWILDerwood Norfolk (20 minutes)?
