Peaceful and friendly with some lovely countryside walks!
FHU grass travel trailer campsite
Liked A nice small, quiet site with spacious pitches to choose from. The toilets/showers were cleaned every day and water pressure on the shower was very good. There is a washing-up station, drinking water and electric hook-up. The WiFi worked really well for streaming. Exactly what we needed for our two-night stay. There are some lovely walks from the campsite listed on the noticeboard and only a 10 min drive to Mundesley Beach which allowed dogs until May. We bumped into one of the owners who was very friendly. Would recommend a torch for the toilet at night but it is not far away. As others have said, the road leading to the campsite is narrow but this was not a problem in our campervan as there are plenty of passing places. Great value for money, we would definitely stay here again.
Disliked There is no path along the road from the campsite to Swafield so we had to be mindful of the traffic, but it was lovely and peaceful once we got to the canal.

FHU grass campsite (hot tub)
Liked A lovely clean and tidy pitch with the hot tub was great, just what we needed. It was very handy for visiting family in North Walsham. It was a quiet site, bearing in mind it was the first weekend of the 2026 season. Facilities were clean and checked each morning, not that we used them, being self contained in our caravan.
Disliked Nothing to dislike, a lovely rural area.

Liked Very quiet, small, secluded site. Big pitches, lots of space. Honesty box with delicious cakes, WiFi was great, I watched Netflix’s all night. Toilets and showers clean. I set up so my view was the fields.
