Liked Where to start! Lovely welcome and shown to pitch (were able to choose one of four). Pitches pan flat and backed by established shrubs.
Toilets and showers immaculate. Proper showers with great pressure and hot water. Liked that toilets were separate from showers. Sqidgee available to clean up after yourself too and everyone did just that.
On site shop had all and more if you forgot anything.
Lovely food at The Fox at Lyng and Darbys in Swanton Morley.

Liked Lovely site in peaceful surroundings. Entertainment was on over this bank holiday weekend and both singers were really good. Really easy access into the site which is always a bonus. Small shop on site as well which was ideal. We walked to the nearby Garden Centre which although some of it was on a busier road was doable as adults but wouldnt advise it with children or dogs. Toilets and Showers were busy but never had to wait for either during our stay and these were kept clean/tidy.

Liked We loved everything about this site the owners were very welcoming the site is extremely clean facilities were excellent with lots of little extras included we were here bank holiday weekend and the site was full but still peaceful there was a massive play area for kids away from the pitches but not to far away. There was entertainment on Friday Saturday and Sunday night which was great shop well stocked and prices were really good and cheap would definitely recommend a visit to this exceptional site. Lots of areas to visit within a good distance of the site very well placed for exploring the area. WiFi was great near the reception area. You can have pizzas delivered to the site we did and they were lovely. We can’t wait for our next visit and will definitely stay longer

Liked We had such a wonderful stay at Bylaugh Country Park! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Nicky and her lovely granddaughters, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The site itself is beautiful, spacious pitches with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The onsite mini bar and shop were a fantastic touch, and we were lucky enough to join in on the quiz night, which was great fun. Everything about our stay was relaxed, welcoming, and enjoyable.

We’ll definitely be coming back, highly recommended!

Local attractions

Angling fans will be well served with a stay at Bylaugh Country Park – the Wensum river is nearby, as are several carp lakes including the Lenwade and Billingford lakes, both ripe for fishing. The Billingford Fishing Lakes are only five minutes' drive away from the site, whereas Lenwade sits 10 minutes' drive away. If a beach break is more your bag, it's a 40-minute drive to the northern coast of Norfolk, where you can explore the Norfolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, walk the Norfolk Coast Path and visit the scenic seaside towns that line it. Head back in time with a trip on the steam trains at Mid-Norfolk Railway and Bure Valley Railway, both within 30 minutes of the site, or by visiting the stately homes of Blickling Estate, Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall and Sandringham, all within 40 minutes of Bylaugh. There’s plenty close at hand for entertaining the kids too: they can meet the wildlife at Pensthorpe Natural Park, run wild at BeWILDerwood or get their own taste of history at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure. If they’re up for a slightly longer jaunt in the car, you can all get your adrenaline pumping on the rides at Pleasurewood Hills theme park.
