What customers say
This small, quiet, rural campsite offers a peaceful escape with lovely views and friendly, helpful owners. Facilities, including a shower and composting toilet housed in a shepherd's hut, are consistently described as clean, basic but functional, and well-maintained. Guests appreciate the seclusion, space, and opportunities for campfires. Minor points raised include limited phone signal and the absence of a freezer, though owners are accommodating. The site is well-placed for local attractions.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Small campsite but not overcrowded. Clean and tidy compost toilet and shower that forms the Shepherd's Hut. Communal social space/shelter/nook was an added bonus for children, or for staying out of adverse weather.

Disliked No actual freezer on site for freezing ice packs. Owner kindly froze them for me which I dropped off at the house and collected when they were done.

Lovely quiet secluded site with fantastic views.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely quiet site. Toilet and shower facilities were fairly basic but absolutely spotless, functional but perfect for the site. We were the only people there until later on the Saturday evening. We pitched up the top of the field behind a small barn and were totally secluded.
