What customers say
This spacious, well-kept campsite is great for anglers, with beautiful lake views and a peaceful vibe. Clean, warm showers and friendly staff get high marks. Downside: M69 motorway noise can be loud, and some guests found toilets occasionally lacked cleanliness or toilet paper.

Very nice overnight stay. Maybe a small play area for children.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Nicely laid out, plenty of electric hook ups.
Good shower block and washing up facilities. Nice walks around the lakes.
Don’t think there was wi-fi
Disliked Could do with a chair/ stool in the showers.
Can hear the motorway but that wasn’t a problem

Ok for a stop over but not holiday
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Position for our visit to Triumph motorcycle factory
Disliked Toilets showers ok , but not cleaned regularly even though there is a cleaning rota posted , you could write your name in the dust on the hand dryers , the site is inhabited by hundreds of geese so poop everywhere 💩obviously it’s mainly used by fresh water fishermen who occupy the lakes which is fair enough, the electric post on our uneven pitch was broken open exposing the 240 electrics potentially life threatening for children

Nice site, but overcrowded due to fishing rally
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Nice setting
Clean, well equipped toilets
Disliked There was a fishing group with 20 to 30 people camped in about 10 tents over only 2 or 3 touring pitches. As the site was almost full, the toilet block was not big enough to cater for this large number of people,

Would definitely stay again! Lovely quiet site for a night away
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Had a lovely night testing our new tent out. It was a1 very quiet, relaxed site. Toilet block and showers were VERY clean and fully stocked. Lots of geese around but didn't come near the tent or us.
Ground was very flat where we pitched up.
Breakfast at the cafe was lovely!
Nice to take the dog for a walk around the camp (although dogs aren't allowed near the lakes... which would of been nice however we fully understand why we couldn't).
Disabled toilet with level access shower was absolutely brilliant! Very clean and perfect for someone who needs it!
Disliked Alot of geese poop around however there's nothing that could of been done about it.
