The park's Riverside Venue Bar and Restaurant has a delicious variety of food and drink, as well as events throughout the high season and on some weekends. There's a multi-sports pitch on site for family games and over a mile and half of free river fishing for those who want to spend a peaceful afternoon on the river banks. A daily river taxi service also runs from Stratford Parks Holiday Park to Stratford-upon-Avon, where there are Shakespeare attractions and lots of places to eat or shop. Arriving with a furry companion? There are also designated dog-walking areas on site.

Liked Lovely clean site by the river
Loved the Sunday lunch in the venue
River taxi to Stratford was fab
Our weather made it so much more enjoyable

Disliked Price was much higher than other sites in low season
Toilet and shower block wasn’t brilliant . Showers had curtains and the floors were not very easily cleaned

Liked It was a close site to get into Stratford.

Disliked Toilets and showers, bit out dated. Very expensive for what it was £42 per night. Pitches not very level.

Liked Excellent reception by staff when I arrived, taken directly to pitch which is extremely helpful if you are unfamiliar.
Very pleasant site by river Avon.
Staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and professional.
Perfect for easy access to Town

Disliked The service block seemed dated. The toilets and showers were past their best and there was a dreadful odour in Gents that seemed constant throughout my stay.

The onsite Bar and Restaurant was good.

Disliked Some grass pitches in poor condition, toilet block needs updating.

For a change from the river taxi, guests can stroll into Stratford-upon-Avon to take in a play from the Royal Shakespeare Company, have a flutter at the races, or visit the many Shakespeare sights dotted around the city. There’s also excellent retail therapy to be had here, as well as in the elegant surrounding towns of Cheltenham, Royal Leamington Spa and Warwick. 
Sporty types will find golf courses, swimming pools and many other facilities nearby, and of course there are plenty of good walking opportunities along the river and out into the lovely Warwickshire countryside. Further along the banks of the Avon are the stately country house of Charlecote Park, and winsome Warwick Castle, which has plenty of things to do and see for all ages. Also nearby are the majestic ruins of Kenilworth Castle, where Robert Dudley and Elizabeth I used to make out; or you could follow in the footsteps of the Gunpowder Plotters of 1605 with a visit to Coughton Court. At the Ragley Hall Estate, visitors can take a tour of the Palladian mansion, go sculpture spotting in the Capability Brown parkland, or lose themselves in the 3D maze. The site is also a great base from which to explore the villages and landscapes of the Cotswolds.
