Liked Loved the site and location.... toilets blocks very clean and the owners very polite and helpfull.
Disliked Not so much a dislike but we were quite a distance from the toilet blocks and as I'm disabled maybe I should have mentioned that in our booking. Very pleased overall and would definitely stay again.

Power optional grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The size of the pitch was great, it was in the shade too which suited us. Toilets were very clean, probably one of the cleanest sites I’ve stayed at. There is a strong sense of community amongst the seasonal pitch holders. Most are very friendly. Good for dog. Plenty of dogs on site, and plenty of walks along quiet roads. We liked to take a walk down to the old RAF site. There’s a canal which runs across the end of the runway across the road. Site settles down nicely in the evening, with little to no noise throughout the night.
Disliked The teenagers running about making a lot of noise with water guns and children cycling around the site. It was advertised as a peaceful adult site. It was bank holiday weekend though. We also disliked the gunfire from the clay pigeon shooting ( I assume) close by, went on for hours from about 10-11 ish in the morning. Not good if you have a dog sensitive to loud bangs. Loud music playing from the seasonal pitches and very loud seasonal pitch holders shouting for hours like they were all in a loud bar fighting to be heard. Could have been quieter.

From the manager: sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with ourselves. With the seasonal's we do allow Grandchildren to visit the Park which is very now and then, but due to the Bank Holiday weekend a few did arrive. Due to the exceptional hot weather is why the Teenagers were playing because usually we have no noise at all off any of the adults or grandchildren. We are a Rural Park and the Clay Pigeon shooting is held once a week on a Sunday for approx 1 hour.
We have our quiet hours from 10.00pm to 8.00am and to be honest we did say that for the amount of people we had on the Park there was very little noise and even the dogs were well behaved with very little barking

Quiet site with excellent washroom facilities
Power optional grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Very remote, quiet site.
Lovely complete washrooms ie toilet, sink and shower in one. All lovely and warm with radiators. Very clean.
Also indoor washing up room with washer and dryer.
Owners were seen to be continually working ie one was weeding the ‘seasonal’ pitches of which there are several on site.
We were pitched on a grass area away from these surrounded by hedges and trees.
Overnight low lights so you can see if you go to washroom block.
Waste and water also on site.
Friendly owners of which this is their second season hence the continual improvements.
Disliked Not really a dislike but agree with other reviews that the roads get narrower the nearer you get.

Liked Spacious pitch. Clean bathrooms. Only there for 12 hours 1930-0730. Middle of nowhere. Small twisty roads surround the place.
Disliked Pitched under the light for the site (my fault) so had to sleep on my wrong side. 😂

Power optional grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Excellent site, very quiet and relaxing.
Shower and toilet facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean.
Really friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked Only slight downside was the slightly narrow approach at times, which could be a squeeze when faced by an on-coming tractor. But hey that's the countryside!
