Tucked away in the Staffordshire village of the same name, High Onn Holiday Park is a family-run spot in 16 acres of peaceful woodland. Staying here gives you easy access to the pretty village of Wheaton Aston, the Shropshire Union Canal and UNESCO-listed exhibits at the Ironbridge Gorge Museums. It’s an adults-only setup here, but well-behaved dogs are welcome, with nine acres of woodland trails on which they can stretch their paws. Simple facilities on site include optional electric hook-ups, a well-maintained toilet block, outdoor showers and all the vital waste disposal amenities. You can buy Calor gas on site too. For other shopping needs, you’re well supplied with supermarkets in Stafford (20 minutes’ drive) and Telford (25 minutes). The nearest petrol station is 10 minutes’ drive away, and public transport options include a railway station in Stafford, and a bus stop (about a mile from the site) that serves the town centre. If you’re dodging cooking duties while on your Staffordshire break, you’ll be pleased to hear there are good pubs in Wheaton Aston and Gnosall (both 10 minutes), plus a tearoom and farm shop in Haughton (15 minutes).

喜欢 Spacious pitch. Clean bathrooms. Only there for 12 hours 1930-0730. Middle of nowhere. Small twisty roads surround the place.

不喜欢 Pitched under the light for the site (my fault) so had to sleep on my wrong side. 😂

喜欢 Excellent site, very quiet and relaxing.
Shower and toilet facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean.
Really friendly and helpful staff.

不喜欢 Only slight downside was the slightly narrow approach at times, which could be a squeeze when faced by an on-coming tractor. But hey that's the countryside!

不喜欢 Would be nice if the shop had a wider selection of items to purchase but I think the site is more geared to caravans etc. who would bring more items with them meaning the shop is generally not used

喜欢 Excellent spacious pitches. The facilities were very clean. A warm welcome after we got lost. It was a shame we only stayed 1 night on our way home as great views and site.

不喜欢 Getting there! Every road around the site seemed closed and very narrow roads. Then took us half an hour to find a way out of the village as no signs and more roads closed.

喜欢 Decent sized grass pitch on level ground, with the water and waste services close to the pitch, best toilet and shower facility set up with several individual shower/toilet pods with heating, they were spotlessly clean and warm.
The campsite is surrounded by open countryside, so a great location if you want peace and quiet, just a short walk to the Shropshire Union Canal with miles and miles of towpaths to walk or cycle.
The staff were very welcoming, helpful and polite.
We would definitely consider a return visit.

不喜欢 This is no fault of the campsite, but the condition of the road down from the A41 is in very poor condition with some very large potholes, so please take care if you do book a stay.

喜欢 Very quiet site..welcoming hosts good ehu elsan and fresh water areas. Clean shower block. Lovely to wake up to bird song instead of road noise from vehicles passing.

不喜欢 Single track Roads to and from site currently full of pot holes but with caution you can get around them

喜欢 A lovely clean and well managed site. Toilet and showers were all in one so you can do everything you need to in private. Pitches are a nice size. There is everything you need here. We would absolutely return here.

喜欢 It is a lovely site and Kerry was working like a trooper keeping everything clean, yes there was a hot water problem, but they got it sorted as soon as it was possible, back up and running (good going for a Easter Saturday)
