Great Site BUT let down by dated facilities especially at £35 p/n
Primitive grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked Location, Great part of the Thames, Plus a great pub nearby.
Disliked The site has potential, but the facilities really let it down. The toilets feel like they've been preserved as a museum exhibit from the 80s or 90s, and the Elsan point looks alarmingly as though it might be draining straight into the Thames. The grass could have done with a cut, and the pitches would benefit from clearer markings.
Overall, for £35 per night, I expected a much higher standard. The location may be great, but the facilities fall well short of what that price point should deliver.
.... will add a great pub with great food next door.

From the manager: All waste water from the site drains into a sealed tank which is then pumped through a pipe all the way underneath the river underground into a large septic tank behind the pub and absolutely no waste is emptied into the river Thames.
unfortunately cutting the grass any further after weeks of prolonged sunshine and lack of rainfall will only damage and weaken it which is why we have paused any further cutting at this time.

Fabulous
Primitive grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked Fabulous, friendly site. Large pitches. Clean toilets and showers, right on the river with access to launch kayak/paddleboard. Swimming in the river as quite shallow just by launch site. Lovely pub just over the bridge. Would definitely recommend.

Great position but facilities need updating
Primitive grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked Lovely position with scenic walks and great views of the boats and water birds.
Easy access across the bridge to a nearby pub with good food.
Friendly welcoming staff
Disliked It was great when it was quiet during the week but it got busy on the weekend with several noisy campers shouting and playing games until one in the morning.
Toilets and showers need updating and there are no washing up facilities.
Expensive for what is offered

Would definately return.
Primitive grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked The location and scenery are quite wonderful. The site is level and the ground not too stoney for tent pegs. Reasonably quiet. Reasonably clean. Handy having a pub nearby.
Disliked The showers were hit and miss. If someone else was having a shower then it affected the water pressure in the other cubicles.

Had a lovely time but site needs investment.
Primitive grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked Lovely location by the Thames with a pub on the othersie of Radcot Bridge. Very quiet.
Disliked The facilities were basic (not even a freezer for ice packs) and just adequate. Portacabin type toilets and shower s provided only limited privacy. A bit 1980s! The premium price of £35 per night was not justified.
