What customers say
This peaceful, picturesque campsite offers a back-to-basics experience with beautiful lakeside views and abundant wildlife, ideal for relaxation and nature lovers. Guests praise the friendly owners, excellent value, and the lake’s suitability for swimming and paddleboarding. While the site is undergoing development with a new toilet and shower block being installed, current facilities are limited to a portaloo and water tap. Some guests found the access road narrow and experienced difficulty locating the site.

Lovely lakeside stay
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely spot on side of lake, very pretty and peaceful. Next to nature reserve where I enjoyed walking, many kinds of waterbirds on lake. Lake was perfect for paddleboard and cooling dips. Very enjoyable stay.
Had difficulty finding the site( sat.nav
not to be trusted) but Sally and family were very helpful and friendly and soon sorted me out. Facilities basic, as clearly stated, though there is now a new, very clean, flushing toilet and showers will be ready soon n
