What customers say
A peaceful, spacious site with great owner communication. Large, level pitches and a natural feel. Excellent location near river walks and pubs. Clean, well-maintained facilities, though some find them basic. Gated access for security. Addressed minor issues.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your recent stay. We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful views, peace and quiet, and spacious feel of our site.
We would like to clarify a few points for future guests reading this review:
Communication: As a self-check-in site, we contact all our guests directly via WhatsApp prior to arrival with gate codes, arrival instructions, and local info. We are always available at the end of the phone or WhatsApp if guests need anything during their stay!
Facilities: As detailed on our booking listing, we operate as a tranquil, back-to-basics certificated site. Our facilities consist of a standard chemical disposal / blue waste flush point and basic essentials rather than a luxury toilet/shower block.
Local Transport: Please note for future travellers
that there is no direct bus service to Cambridge directly from our village.
We appreciate your visit and hope you enjoyed the peaceful surrounding countryside.
On the whole a really nice site which we’d recommend and return to.

Liked Great location, easy scenic walks along the riverside to several nice pubs and eateries. Site has a chilled relaxed vibe, clean facilities and was surprisingly very quiet after dark, despite being a busy weekend with lots of family’s present.
Disliked Not that the site can alter the weather of course, but grass so short and brown it was almost nonexistent in parts of our pitch, which exposed old litter, large stones and even a pint glass which we cleared away before wanting to sit out.
