A great spot for a peaceful break. Spacious pitches, lovely riverside location, near pubs. Secure, friendly owners. Facilities generally good, but a bit basic with occasional issues.

A nice site let down by the cleanliness of the showers and toilets.

Liked Location, security, views, riverside walks, local restaurants
Disliked State of the showers & toilets. Not cleaned at all during our stay after what looked to have been a busy weekend. Overflowing bins in the washing up area and at the main bin site resulted in us taking our rubbish and recycling home with us.

A lovely campsite in the countryside…
Powered grass site
Liked A lovely campsite in the countryside with all the amenities needed. The owners were very helpful when the water ran cold and the gas needed changing. The campsite is in a lovely location backing on to a field of curious cows which was entertaining for the kids, with beautiful walks and pubs and cafes nearby.

From the manager: Thank you for leaving us a review. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. Regarding the hot water, we were in the process of essential plumbing repairs on-site at the time. As the contractors and their equipment were clearly visible and active in the shower area, we assumed this made the situation self-explanatory for our guests. I am sorry that this maintenance caused you inconvenience, but I am pleased to confirm that the work is now fully complete and the facilities are back to our usual high standard. We appreciate your patience while we improved our site facilities.
