Beautifully landscaped, eco-friendly site. Guests rave about immaculate, modern facilities, helpful owner David, and abundant local wildlife like kingfishers. Lovely direct walks. Some road noise, but it subsides at night. Highly recommended!

Liked Amazing site, David the owner should be really proud 👏.
Easy access to the site, really relaxing vibe about the whole place. All the facilities were great. Electric shower with decent pressure, enclosure for waste point, even thought about pegging out awning on a hard standing with the perfect room to peg in the grass, finally common sense prevails.
We loved the river for the dog, the woods in a few minutes drive for walking and even with the pub being 2 minutes drive we coped.
First class site, lovely welcoming owner, relaxing vibe, working facilities. I couldn't ask for more. We'll return again and again. Our first visit was that good.
Disliked Nothing, even the reviews mentioning the road noise, yeah it it there, no it didn't disturb me. I'm a light sleeper and it just blended into the background.

FHU gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Beautiful, quite, small campsite with a lot of trees and shrubs and a small river along the edge. Very well maintained and clean grounds. The pitches are well spaced and private. Shower and toilet block very well maintained and always clean. The owner, David, is very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.
Disliked The nearby road traffic can sometimes be a bit noisy but we soon got used to it.

Liked Lovely private pitches, and very level.
Also toilet and shower facilities are excellent and well maintained
Disliked Close to main road so some traffic noise, but I can sleep through anything so not an issue

Lovely site, pity I had to leave but work commitments
FHU gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Beautiful site, so well looked after. David has a knack for creating a meadow with motorhomes and caravans but with privacy and natural wildlife all around, There are seating areas for meeting other people, a tepee and even a hide so you can watch the kingfishers coming and going from they're nest in the river bank
Disliked some pitches are close to the main road, so bit noisy but this also quietens down during the evening.
If he ever puts anymore pitches in, next to the river would be the best pitches to book, as well away from road
