What customers say
A peaceful, clean, adult-only site with spacious, private spots. Owners and the Alpaca Arms pub get rave reviews, as do the alpacas. Clean facilities, though showers cost extra. Occasional pub noise and mixed location reviews noted.

First time there and would defo go again
Powered grass campsite
Liked The site was superb principally due the excellent hosts Gary and Julie. The ethos of the site is it should be friendly and all on site should say hello and talk almost like a family environment. It was good to see the inquisitive alpacas as well.
Disliked I dont think I disliked anything really, well apart from the rubbish phone reception but you cannot lay the blame for that on the site

Great place, location, facilities & people.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Amazing place, great campsite and facilities with its own pub. The owners are so friendly & helpful, we had a very peaceful and relaxing stay with awesome views of the Alpacas, one of the perks… no kids allowed.

From the manager: Thankyou for a lovely review Darren, hope to see you again with a bigger tent ⛺️ 😉👍
Nice campsite. Industrial area.
Powered grass campsite
Liked We stayed as a stopover on the way home from further north. Campsite is nice. Spacious pitches with hedges between. Showers clean and hot. Didn't use the on site pub as it was closed that night.
Disliked The campsite is in the village of New Holland. The village gives the impression of having seen better days. We walked along the riverside path. This was accessed through an industrial site. Although the campsite was fine, we didn't like the area.

Great quiet site
Powered grass campsite
Liked Everything, nice quiet site, lovely toilet and shower block, good sized pitch, the Alpace Inn was lovely and even opened Wednesday due to England match even though it usually shuts just in a Wednesday. The hosts were amazing and the Alpacas next to the tent were a lovely touch.
Disliked Nothing really, booked for 2 nights but ended up booking a 3rd and staying another night.
