What customers say
Stunning location with breathtaking views, perfect for exploring Mam Tor and Castleton. Guests rave about the exceptional cleanliness of facilities and the well-maintained site. The friendly host and honesty box are big pluses. Basic but spotless amenities. Minor notes on occasional noise and uneven ground, but peace and great walks make it highly recommended for short stays.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The toilets were amazingly clean, and the whole campsite was spotless with some absolutely stunning views. It's around a 10–15 minute walk into town where there are some lovely pubs. I'd definitely recommend taking a torch for the walk back in the evening.
Unfortunately, we decided to cut our trip short due to the disappointing weather, but that certainly wasn't the campsite's fault. We will definitely be back and look forward to visiting again in better weather! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
