Powered grass caravan site
Liked Beautiful location and views.
Easy to get to.
Great facilities. Perhaps a little tired and dated and I guess could be a little limited if site is busy but very clean and well kept.
Laid back but Helen the owner on hand if needed.
The barn has been converted to include seating area and kitchen with kettle, washing up and so on. Great spot to hang out.
Excellent fish and chips in local village.
Disliked Not much.
Some noise due to road passing but nothing the site can do about that.

Power optional grass site
Liked Stunning location and scenery.
Excellent friendly staff.
Bar onsite. Excellent fresh pizza.
Lots of space even when busy.
Onside fishing pools.
Great for walks into Forest of Dean
Disliked Seemingly the world's smallest washing up facilities with a single small sink.
Separate charge for electric - expensive compared to other sites. Pre charged then any outstanding charge will be returned BUT make sure you ask how to get meter reading BEFORE you disconnect.
Limited toilet facilities on main site (2 toilets and a urinal in mens).
Toilets not the cleanest during our stay.
Elson point at furthest point from touring field. Would be better if by toilet block.

Liked Lovely, welcoming site owners.
New facilities were clean and very good.
Large pitch and lots if space on second field.
Small shop for essentials.
Fantastic location.
Disliked Needs another water supply - current one is a long way from the far end of the field.
First 'tent' field was very crowded.
No WiFi.

Liked Great hosts.
Large pitches. Lots of room in second field.
New toilet/shower facilities were good.
Lovely location and scenery although you do need transport as local facilities are a good 30 minute plus walk although small onside shop for most basics.
Disliked Water taps are long way from furthest pitches. Would be more convenient th have some more spread out.
First field was very crowded on this weekend.

Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, England
Fully-serviced gravel caravan site (super)
Liked Exceptionally neat and well kept site.
Warm welcome from friendly hosts.
Pitches are spacious and well laid out.
Lovely toilet/shower facilities.
Easy car access into town for shopping, eats, petrol etc.
Very quiet at this time of year which we like.
Disliked Large section of whole site given over to static holiday homes. Would suspect it can get very busy in warmer weather.
Not much within easy walking distance such as shops, pubs, restaurants so consider this if you are motorhoming.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are glad you enjoyed the site, facilities and pitches 😊 Stourport on Severn is a 15 minute walk from Lickhill Manor along the River Severn. Stourport offers many pubs, shops and places to eat. We hope to see you again soon. Kind regards Team Lickhill

Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Excellent facilities. Clean and lots of hot water.
Spacious level pitches well spaced out.
Fishing pond on site.
Not constantly 'watched/aware' of owners.
Allowed campfire.
Disliked Lots of 'rules' signs in display made it initially feel less relaxed.
Needs on-site/pitch wi-fi available in this day and age.
No where available to exercise dogs off lead safely.

Badger powered concrete and grass caravan site (large)
Liked Lovely location in Cheshire countryside.
Owners very friendly and helpful when contacted.
Easy arrival and set up procedures.
Lots of space.
Onsite coffee shop and farm shop.
Area to walk dogs on disused rail way alongside site.
Able to stay beyond the 12.00 leaving time as site was very not busy/booked up.
Tattenhall is good village for shopping, pubs, takeaway only 5 to 10 mins drive.
Disliked Following heavy rain, the railway line was flooded. We took our dogs to the far end of the site, a long way from any pitches and although the site rules do stress dogs are to be kept on leads at all times, we allowed our two well behaved dogs to run after their ball a few times as they had been cooped up in the caravan for a day. There was no issue and they did not disturb anyone/anything. We were approached by a gentleman who seems to live permanently on site and he was very aggressive about us exercising our well behaved dogs.
Sunday morning at 8.30 the peace was broken by approx 100 cars from a local sports car group arriving on site. The next 3 hours saw a constant revving of engines and aggressive accelerating along the lane and back. I am a car nut myself but would have welcomed a heads up about this in advance. Don't know if it is a regular thing. Some of the cars parked alongside occupied pitches so felt very sorry for those people.
Tried to contact owner to ask permission to stay beyond the 12.00 leaving time but could not get in touch Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

Pendine fully-serviced concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Welcoming host/owner Chris. Work very hard keeping site in good order. Always seems to be available if any issue. Sadly someone on site had very poor hygiene habits but the site staff dealt with it very quickly and professionally.
Main toilet block is excellent with hot showers at all times.
Small toilet/washing up block is usable but there are plans for this to be replaced in the next year.
Most of the pitches are a good size.
Plenty of rubbish and recycling spots around the camp and plenty of water points throughout.
Local pub is 2 minute walk. Good beers etc. Food was OK but found better in the area.
Will definitely use again when in area.
Disliked Some of the pitches are on slope (to be far whole site is sloping but many pitches are leveled out).
Due to location 4G/5G reception and mobile phone reception is poor (Three seemed to be the best). Obviously not the owners fault but with onsite WIFI being available on more and more sites, hopefully this could be included in new developments if not already planned.

Liked Beautiful countryside location.
Choose own pitch.
Good value.
Farm fresh eggs and local madejhams etc available.
Friendly welcome then left to 'get on with it' but clear help was on hand if needed.
Facilities spotlessly clean.
Disliked Only one combined toilet and shower could be issue when busy.
Poor mobile and 4G reception - obviously not the sites fault but perhaps consideration to include wi-fi booster on site would be well received in this day and age of online technology.

Liked Friendliness and helpfulness of owner Chris. Nice views. Short stroll to pub. Convenience shop close by. Easy to travel to different locations. Excellent toilet/shower facilities. Fully serviced pitches were level.
Disliked Some pitches on slope. Poor 4G reception. Perhaps needs a WiFi booster system to improve things in the modern day.

Liked Excellent toilet and shower facilities. Easy checking in process. Bar and restaurant on site. Easy approach from A41.
Good grocery/takeaway/pubs/restaurants within short drive.
Disliked Touring pitches felt quite tight and close together.
Road busier than expected. Not as bad as as some and beyond any control by site but certainly a very well used B road at all times.
