What customers say
Great spot, friendly welcome, and good facilities (shop/restaurant). Pitches are well-liked, many with awesome views near cliff walks/beach. Most found facilities fine, though a few reckon loos/showers need a spruce-up. Road noise and early wake-ups mentioned.

Powered grass campervan site (sea view)
Liked The pitch with a sea view is beautiful. It’s perfect for getting to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove in just a few minutes.
Disliked The bathroom facilities are a bit dated. You couldn’t adjust the water temperature in the shower, and sometimes it was only cold

Best for the young and fit but not with babes that need a pushchair !!
Abbeyfield powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Beautiful wooded site, great for older kids. Best part is the tent area really lovely amongst trees.
Lovely hot showers
Pitches for motorhomes had high hedges which was nice, but the pods look straight into the plot opposite.
Disliked UNSUITABLE FOR ANYTHING WITH WHEELS !! Due to deep gravel paths/ stones my mum had huge difficulty with her rolator , not suitable for wheelchairs / buggies either Paths and tracks need tarmac / paving / concrete, and pot holes filled in.
Needs another toilet and shower block not enough facilities for the no. of pitches, we mostly used toilets in the beach car park .Disabled toilet needs radar key, we didnt bother as there are 2 in beach car park.
The pub is TOO EXPENSIVE we would normally eat out more than we did COCKTAILS SMALL CANS £10 each !!! , meals £16- 18 puds £8-9. See pics for current menu. Didnt use take away option.
No entertainment until summer season.
NO WIFI AT PITCH ONLY AT RESTAURANT AND GRASSED AREA OPPOSITE.

Would definitely recommend, great location.
Rookery unpowered grass tent site
Liked Location for camping, nicely shaded, very close to cliff walks and beach. I got to pick my spot, first come - first serve, also not too far from facilities, my choice.
Disliked The dawn chorus was exceptionally loud, mostly because the black birds can't sing. Also, you may get some poop on your camping equipment.
