Liked Spacious site with nice views. As the only guest I had a great human free night away with my dog. Site on a gentle slope but didn't cause me any problems and when I walked around the perimeter with my dog there were plenty of more flat spaces. Very quiet and peaceful and exactly what I needed. Loved hearing the goats on the other side of the hedge. Toilets & shower very clean. I will definitely return. Thank you

Clean well maintained safe environment
Unpowered grass and earth tent or motorhome site
Liked Well maintained site, clean loos, well stocked and friendly approachable manager. Plenty of space for family ball games etc but also peaceful for one man and a dog to appreciate the Dorset countryside and unwind. The site felt very safe with plenty of walks nearby and a nice village with pub and shop... I didn't need my car keys.
Disliked Sloping field, leveling blocks recommended but not absolutely necessary depending on your pitch. The open season is not long enough!!

Liked Loved our short stay at lanscombe lane campsite. It was a last minute booking and was just what we needed as a family with a toddler, very relaxed and laid back. The land itself is lovely and the owner, Gemma was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Although the campsite is basic everything is clean, well kept and peaceful. The added touch of goats and chickens was great and we loved our first camping trip as a family! Would definitely recommend and go back x
Disliked The one thing I would have liked would have been hot water while washing up but the little touches of washing up liquid and sponges etc was lovely.

Peaceful location in beautiful countryside.

Liked Very spacious pitch with electric hook up. Basic set up - just how we like it. Toilets and shower were very clean, with good supply of toilet paper and hand soap. Wash up area good but not covered. Dark site except for toilet block. Great to see the goats and sheep. Short walk to a well stocked village shop and to local pub. Pub food excellent, with more friendly goats. Gemma was fantastic; great pre-visit communications, lovely to meet/chat face-to-face and was easy to extend stay by 1 night. Bobby, the cat, was an added bonus. Planning another visit.
Disliked Minor points, but hot water at wash basin would be nice, especially on colder days. Recycling bins.
