Badly run campsite in lovely location
Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Location. Lots of trees providing shade. There were some nice looking pitches.
Disliked Our pitch was tiny and had no grass, just dirt. We asked if we could change pitches on our last night and we were told no because they're fully booked despite there clearly being plenty of spaces which were still there in the morning.
The toilets are disgusting by 9am because they haven't been cleaned since 5pm and are shared with the bar.
We waited an hour to be served mediocre food in the on-site restaurant.
They pitches are really crammed in together.

The staff, facilities and lovely location…

Liked The staff, facilities and lovely location on the coast, couldn’t fault, lovely welcome. Terrace bar was a real bonus.
Disliked Being camped under the dark shady trees,( including a fir tree hedge blocking all the sunshine) tree canopy resulted in bird lime all over the van and landed on my wife the first time we sat outside, didn’t want to put the awning up for fear of it being covered in bird poo, the ground was covered in dirty muddy leaves, no grass or gravel, shame as everything else was really lovely. £80 for 2 nights was a bit steep for where we were.

Superb setting for a relaxed getaway
Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Perfect. Lovely location, especially being next door to Minsmere and a direct path to a very quiet and clean beach. The site is full of mature tree's so lots of shade. Met some lovely people in the bar/restaurant. Also, lots of their lovely dogs enjoying their holiday. Facilities were faultless. My favourite site so far. Dunwich has plenty of history, which adds to the experience.
This was our second visit and will definitely be back.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.

We had a lovely time and will hopefully visit again soon.

Liked Lovely environment to wake up to in the morning. So close to the beach. Very helpful staff. Really lovely playground for young children.
Disliked We would have preferred a gravel pitch rather than wood chippings. Some areas outside look a little run down.
