What customers say
Lovely spot with beach access and woodland. Friendly staff, clean facilities, and great for families with shop, restaurant, bar, playground. Minor gripes on hot water, pitches, checkout, but overall well-kept and guests want to return.

A great find. We will return
Powered grass and gravel site
Liked Good discovery!
A lovely site mixed with tents, camper vans, statics and lodges. Very peaceful. From our pitch, access to the steps down to the beach was approx. 200m. Although you can eat in the bar/restaurant on site, we chose to walk 1.5 miles along the beach to the Ship Inn in Dunwich.
We'll definitely be back to stay at some point in the near future
Disliked A 10:00 a.m. checkout is a little too early (for us at least). Any site that has access only from 14:00 (like this one), should have check out between 11:00 and 12:00...that still leaves two hours before new arrivals.

Liked Helpful warden who noticed me arriving after reception was closed. Guided me to right pitch. Access by steps to amazing beach. miles long. sandy, in both directions and mostly me and my dog had it entirely to ourselves. Loved the layout, generous pitches amongst the glades and trees. Clean, warm, generous sized facilities.

Highly recommend.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked One of the best campsites we have visited.
Shop on site, restaurant and bar with children's play park. So we could have a drink while the kids enjoyed playing without them going out of sight. Wi-fi available at the bar/restaurant.
Right next to the beach and loved listening to the waves at night. So peaceful.
Well run, maintained and friendly staff.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.

One of our favourite sites in Suffolk.
Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked We had the nicest night away with our grandson. The site is gorgeous. Pretty, clean with great amenities. And so close to the prettiest beach .And everyone who works there is so helpful to the lovely chap who shows you around on his golf buggy to the restaurant staff. It was our 2nd time and we will be back.

Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked All staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Especially Worzal.
Disliked Shower snd toiler block...all 3 showers out of order, no hot water. 3 of hand soaps were empty. Not particularly clean.

Enjoyable
Powered grass and gravel tent site
Liked Clean, with great facilities in a fantastic location
Disliked Tent pitch was a little uneven. Cut down hedges near the path are a trip risk which I cut my toe on.

Would have scored higher if our pitch was better.
Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Location, great beach and fabulous heathland. A walker/runner paradise.
Disliked Proximity of our pitch to the bar and playground (20ft away). Showers out of order for the duration and no hot water for washing up.
Being so close to the toilets, endless people taking a shortcut through our pitch.
