Liked Location excellent, clean facilities although did not use the showers has used our own caravan. Bar and food on site good. We were on fully serviced, good pitch allocated on arrival which is a nice size.

Disliked Only one dislike is the electricity you have to download an app, scan QR code, didn't work for us, was sorted at reception. Came back after a day out and the electricity had gone off. Although again sorted at reception this could have ruined our freezer food.

We're sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with the electric hook-up system. While we're pleased that our reception team was able to resolve both issues quickly, we understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly when you were concerned about the contents of your freezer.

Following feedback from guests, we have since made it much clearer during the setup process that the correct departure date must be entered into the app, as this determines when the electricity supply is scheduled to switch off. This has helped prevent similar issues from occurring.

Liked Great location, lovely and clean loved the radio in the shower/toilets. Enjoyed a nice cold beer in Bar. Pitch was a good size.

Liked Peaceful and a lovely area. Ben’s bar was a nice surprise. Take a way food excellent. Ate 2 night out of the four. Reception staff very polite and friendly.

Disliked I personally was not keen on the toilet/ bathroom arrangements. Although clean and tidy would prefer single sex facilities.

Liked Friendly staff, little play area for young children, spacious pitches, easily accessible electricity via an app, quiet campsite despite being right on the main road.

Disliked Dog dirt around the site that hadn’t been picked up. Dirty drain smell from the bathrooms.

We're sorry to hear about the issues you encountered. As a dog-friendly campsite, we ask all guests to be responsible and clean up after their pets. While the vast majority do so, on the occasional instance where this has not happened, our team will remove any dog waste as soon as it is noticed or reported. We certainly take such matters seriously and act immediately when they are brought to our attention.

Regarding the bathroom drains, these are stripped down and thoroughly cleaned on a weekly basis as part of our maintenance programme. Any drainage or odour issues reported to us are dealt with immediately to ensure our facilities remain clean and pleasant for all guests.

Liked Excellent location, very impressive private bathrooms. Clean and friendly site.

Disliked Our pitch was on sandy acres and the sand left a dusty film over everything! Other than that though, it was a lovely stay.

During your stay, we experienced a spell of exceptionally hot and dry weather, which unfortunately can create more dust than usual on some of our pitches.
