Disliked entrance bollard that failed locks, padlocks and chains a major feature half the site - 2 acres - is locked up so crowded dog walk area is tiny

From the manager: I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your 1 night stopover. As you were a last minute booking your vehicle registration hadn't been added to the ANPR system yet, which was explained to you on arrival. Once it had been added you were able to enter and exit seamlessly. As you will see from our reviews we are a very friendly team, but unfortunately as you never came out of your motorhome our wardens were unable to greet you on their walk rounds. The dog exercising area is a good size and enjoyed by all that use it. We are also praised for our well maintained pitches, which is achieved by resting different areas on a rotational basis. This was particularly important during the torrential rain we experienced on the night you visited.

Liked Dog walking paddocks - 40 minutes around the perimeter with river and bridges. Very clean facilities. Location - 1500 metres off Truro - Falmouth road - peaceful. Good internet. Grass pitches were less crowded and enjoyed more sun.

Liked Small, rural site overlooking Wye valley and hills beyond. Very clean tidy site. Welcoming and helpful family. Great walks form the campsite. Haye on Wye 45 minutes walk. Glorious weather

Liked Neat and tidy. During partial lockdown so no facilities open. Plenty of walking close by. 45 minutes to Coleford town.
