Hillcrest Views Campsite

Liked In the Meadow… Large pitch with plenty of communal space. Privacy hedges. Friendly welcome. Fair price. Washing up liquid and sponges provided. Great views.

Disliked Lots of rules and regulations provided before we arrived so a little concerned but all ok. The directions were confusing ie the first direction is to take a turn on the roundabout on the A30 but the roundabout is up off a slip road! Hence turn missed. We found it much easier to use google maps and it was not as hard to find as the park thinks it is.

However, they tend to be particularly useful for those first time campers who are exploring this arena for the first time. And thank you very much for the feedback on the instructions. Whilst they are usually found to be very helpful - I will go back and review them to see if they could benefit from some updating.

Liked Great location, very well kept private pitches. Staff are very pleasant, Amy and Roger great to talk to. Facilities are exceptional. Would gladly return here.

Liked Excellent facilities, clean, well maintained pitches, great location and within walking distance of pub, takeaway and shop, not far from beach. Great value for money, peaceful site. Will definitely stay again.

Liked Nice clean facilities, and the shower had hooks to hang up your clothes and towels, that a bonus over larger sites.

Liked Privacy shrubs, super clean bathrooms, only 3 showers, but 2 shower heads in each so 2+ people can shower at same time-- much faster! Plenty of sinks for dishes. We were on bicycles, most accommodating. Highly recommend.

Liked Amazing views, good size pitch, facilities keep very clean, lots of sinks to wash up, electric showers,Amy and Roger were very friendly and great pre visit communication, good location in little village, shops nearby, short travelling distance to lots of beaches

Disliked We did have to queue one night for the shower as it was very busy. This hasn’t put us off as overall it was brilliant.

Liked Great family run campsite with clean showers and toilets, double showers were great for showering with my little boy after a day at the beach. Clean washing up facilities all working. Amy is always about cleaning and is lovely and helpful. Pitches are lovely and spacious with green area in the middle for children to play and 2 football goals. Lovely little herb garden you can use. Freezer onsite for ice packs. Only thing that would have been helpful would be a washing machine. But one of the best campsites we have been to as a family and would 100% recommend and would love to come back again. Thank you Amy and Roger

Liked The view & peaceful setting was lovely! A family site - was lovely seeing the camp 'wake up' in the mornings & their return from day outs!!
Children had the middle of field to play & the country views in the distance made for relaxing sitting outside van!
Robartes pub just along from site on safe walk but not serving food at the present time. Morrisons next to pub and great selection of foods and drink! Also pasty shop opp pub!!!
The Ship Inn 15 min drive or 40 minutes walk .... best to book table for food!
Choice of baches a short drive away &
lovely walks in & around village of Illogan.

Amy the owner, is lovely and her directions to enter the site from the A30 was spot on for our touring van.
Amy's warden, Roger was very helpful & always ready to help or assist in any way! 😊

All my family had a great week & will be going back without a doubt, with all three grown up children & five grandchildren! 🥰
