What customers say
Brilliant mountain views, loads of space and a chilled vibe. Showers are spotless and hot, but the loos can get busy. Great for walks, handy for Keswick and a pint. Some pitches are a bit wonky, but it's well-kept and a good deal. Mind the odd bit of noise from neighbours.

Nice site- would come again
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Peaceful, chilled and not busy at all. No allocated pitches or checking in, just arrive and pitch up. Just how I like it but if you're looking for amenities this is not your place. Great location for surrounding activities
Disliked Not a dislike as it didn't bother us with it being quiet but only 2 toilets and 2 showers per gender- can see how that might be an issue if the site is busy.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Beautiful setting with fantastic mountain views!
Was pleasantly surprised to find showers on site which is amazing given the price and it being a pop up campsite!
Also saw that there were games in the shower block, a bbq, and logs etc you can purchase.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Very basic site, which was perfect! Literally toilets, showers and a sink to wash your pots.
Parked on the bottom field so got our steps in going up the bank to the toilets etc!
Great location - outstanding views.
No wifi!
Disliked Grass needed cutting, would have made things that bit easier!
Noisy neighbours - isn't there an unwritten rule that you should be quiet between 10pm & 6am?

Perfect for a one night stop gap.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Well away from the sound of traffic.
Easy to find.
Always good to have showers and toilets.
Lovely panoramic views.
Disliked The washing area within the barn was very unhygienic due to the nesting swallows and their poop being everywhere.

Good stay, will come back.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Chilled owners.
Nice setting with a good amount of space.
Toilet block charming and functional, reasonably clean.
Good showers.
Disliked Queue for toilet block can get annoying as only two showers/toilets per gender.
Ran out of toilet paper.
Says arrive 2-5pm but the owners seem very lax on this and would have been nice to know in advance.
Same with one tent per pitch, definitely could have gotten away with two tents on one.
