What customers say
A grand, well-placed site with knockout views. Guests love the chilled vibe, spotless loos, and a bargain price. Some mention the basic bits and the odd wait, but the lovely scenery and access to walks and Keswick get the thumbs up. Nice upkeep and sound owners too.

Fantastic site! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Beautiful setting with fantastic mountain views!
Was pleasantly surprised to find showers on site which is amazing given the price and it being a pop up campsite!
Also saw that there were games in the shower block, a bbq, and logs etc you can purchase.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Very basic site, which was perfect! Literally toilets, showers and a sink to wash your pots.
Parked on the bottom field so got our steps in going up the bank to the toilets etc!
Great location - outstanding views.
No wifi!
Disliked Grass needed cutting, would have made things that bit easier!
Noisy neighbours - isn't there an unwritten rule that you should be quiet between 10pm & 6am?

Good stay, will come back.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Chilled owners.
Nice setting with a good amount of space.
Toilet block charming and functional, reasonably clean.
Good showers.
Disliked Queue for toilet block can get annoying as only two showers/toilets per gender.
Ran out of toilet paper.
Says arrive 2-5pm but the owners seem very lax on this and would have been nice to know in advance.
Same with one tent per pitch, definitely could have gotten away with two tents on one.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked We stayed here over my birthday weekend and had such a lovely experience. The weather was perfect, the views were absolutely spectacular, and the whole campsite felt so peaceful and relaxing. The toilet and shower facilities were also very clean and well maintained, which made the stay even better. Waking up to those beautiful views and spending quiet evenings there was honestly so special. Would definitely love to come back again!
