Swimming in the lake is not allowed.- Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
- A cable measuring at least 15 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
- The site only allows dogs up to 32kg.
- Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed on site.
- Units longer than 10 metres are not allowed.
- The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa. Touring units must have a portable fire extinguisher. From 01 November to 28 February, no awning heaters are permitted and the bar and Pizza Airstream is open on Friday and Saturday evenings only.

Disliked Only complaint is it's quite noisy from a train line nearby. Not the site's fault of course, but did disrupt our sleep a little

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Spacious pitches and so close to the amenities. Showers are excellent and clean. Very well maintained. Very clean site and well looked after and staff are amazing.
Disliked Could do with a few more dog poo bins around site. Could do with a few heaters or be more closed in, in the tent part at the side of the bar and maybe an on site shop to maybe buy essentials. Better wifi signal

Liked Lovely quiet site with added bonus of a bar and pizza area! Immaculate toilet/shower block. 15 minute car journey to park & ride into York. Very friendly, helpful staff. We will definitely be back.

Staff were great and very helpful, the bar was great!
Disliked If I was nitpicking, the wifi didn’t reach our tent and phone signal was a little bit spotty, but the WiFi worked amazingly in the bar area.
