What customers say
Lovely views, super staff & spotless loos here. Café's great value & the kids loved the games tent. A few found the ground tough on a slope, but everyone raved about the place and many are keen to come back.

Non-electric grass campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked What an amazing campsite with great facilities all 10/10 super clean. What made it even better was how the team make everyone feel super welcome, going above and beyond in all areas. My little girl is still talking about going on a Late night tour of the animals with all the kids. This is what camping is all about.

Liked Loved this campsite , friendly and welcoming family that run this site. Great location for seaside days out. There was homemade pizza on the Saturday evening which was so fresh and tasty and great prices. Toilets and showers clean and hot showers . The views from this campsite are also beautiful, would definitely recommend and return. Also pool table , ping pong , badminton, football and billiards , all free to use in a games tent .

Bell tent (basic)
Liked From the second we arrived to the moment we left the service we received was second to none.
The campsite, whilst only a pop-up, has flushing toilets and belting showers.
We couldn’t have a bbq because of the recent exceptionally dry weather so decided to go for a few burgers and pizzas made by the owners. Very reasonably priced and particularly tasty.
Paul (the owner, who’s wife is lucky to have him) was a great host. I’d recommend not downing a load of beers and smashing in the amazing desserts before partaking on his optional evening hike.
Disliked Nothing. Even offered the host a beer and he politely declined.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Hosts were amazing. So kind, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I took stone-friendly tent pegs but host offered me some if I needed any. Despite being on a hill the tent pitches were level. Amazing sunset view.

Liked The site was perfect for me and my lad. Lovely owners and welcoming.
Showers were brilliant warm and powerful.
Ability to buy food if needed and free games for kids.
Not an overly busy site which was a bonus. Felt safe leaving tent unsupervised and leaving site.

Non-electric grass campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely site.
The owners were very welcoming, telling us all about the site and facilities, showing us to our pitch, and giving tips for the local area.
The pitches are at the top of a fairly steep site, but set on terraces, so we enjoyed panoramic views right across to the coast.
We visited on the opening weekend, so facilities were clean and worked perfectly. From conversations with the owners, I’ve no doubt they will stay this way throughout the season.
Showers were full size cubicles with hot water, good pressure, and plenty of space to dry off and change.
We ate on site, enjoying freshly made pizza and garlic bread at decent prices.
There was a small play area at the bottom of the site near the cafe, alongside a marquee to eat or socialise in. As well as providing somewhere for children and families, it also contributed to making the camping area peaceful.
The owners also have a large area of land above and behind the campsite which visitors are free to use, with deer, hares, and a variety of birds. We saw a quail and a few large birds of prey during our stay.
