What customers say

Tá an campa beag, cairdiúil seo molta as a fhoireann an-fhearúil agus an bia den scoth sa teach tábhairne ar an láthair. Tá sé suite go háisiúil do Alton Towers. Tá na háiseanna glan, feidhmiúil, ach d’fhéadfadh cuid acu a bheith níos fearr. Gearán faoi torann bóthair, ach tá cluasáin ar fáil.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Such a great site, loved the area we were in was gated with a code, made us feel safe.
Toilets and showers were clean and fresh looking. We ate twice in the pub and can i say, it was amazing, all home cooked and fresh and staff were wonderful.
We used the site as a base and spent everyday in the local area, inc Alton Towers, Thors Cave and Shugborough House (Natiinal Trust) its was nice to come and go as we pleased and though close to main road, it didnt bother us at all.
Would love to return in the warmer months to make use of the pub garden.
Over all its a great site and we will be back.

Disliked I cant really think of anything we didnt like

Pub Car Park non-electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Nice food in the pub, welcoming host and nice warm toilet/shower block.
Proximity to Alton Towers (although is about 20 minutes drive not 10 as stated somewhere on the website)

Disliked Road noise - didn’t bother us but could be a problem if you are a light sleeper.

Liked Campsite was gorgeous, loved that you could book a car park spot which makes it perfect for converted cars and vans. Toilet and shower facilities really clean and warm. Pub was lovely, really nice atmosphere with lovely food and drinks. Staff were all really helpful and kind, would 100% stay again and really recommend. We found the campsite to be really peaceful and quiet throughout the stay. Thank you!!
