Situated in a pretty meadow on the outskirts of a picturesque village in Wrexham, The Hut at Hafod Las provides well-equipped, self-catering accommodation in the form of a cosy shepherd’s hut. Nearby, the village of Minera is steeped with history, and there are many footpaths and trails to be explored close by. Within an hour, guests can be in the centre of Liverpool or Manchester, Snowdonia National Park, or discovering the stunning coastline of North Wales.
The shepherd’s hut provides everything needed for the perfect glamping experience this winter. Situated in the lovely village of Abriachan just twelve miles from Inverness, Camping Pod Heaven offers a fantastic camping experience without the hassle of putting up a tent. Guests can get involved in a range of activities including walking trails, cycling, mountain biking, and go on a boat trip on the world-famous Loch Ness - which is just a five-minute drive away.
Each distinctively shaped pod comfortably sleeps four adults and has mattresses, a double electric socket, heating and a private entrance. They also have a shared bathroom. Located in a beautiful woodland valley, this friendly, family-run site, set on a farm, offers quirky accommodation in a gorgeous location with fantastic views of the fells leading down to the Irish Sea. The historic village of Broughton-in-Furness with its shops, pubs and restaurants is just a seven-minute drive away, or a thirty-minute scenic walk. The farm is a working hill farm and has sheep, cows, ponies, ducks and hens which are always a huge hit amongst young guests.
The quirky rail cabin pod is cosily furnished and features one double bed and a bunk bed. There is also a chair, table, candles and a woodburning stove (wood is provided). There is a room with a sink for washing up and a freezer. Dogs allowed.
