What customers say
This peaceful spot has spacious, level pitches with water and EHU, offering great views of a fishing lake and hills. It's perfect for exploring Shropshire Hills, with plenty of walks right from the site and a 15-min walk to Church Stretton. Facilities are basic but clean; some wished for warmer showers and floor mops. It can get busy with anglers on weekends. Bin and waste disposal issues are being addressed.

Super, if a little pricey at £30 per night.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite (members only)
Liked Flat spacious pitch with lovely view to the fishing lake, hills and geese. EHU and water point close by. Fab location with lots of walks, close to Church Stretton, and peaceful nights. Hot water in shower/toilet hut. Just 5 spaces.
Disliked Poor drainage at water taps, lots of daytime visitors to fish in the lake, very muddy access by foot. Great to gave dedicated shower and toilet, but this could be so much better with the right equipment to avoid flooding the shower room and to clean up afterwards. With mud and dirt , it was impossible to clean and dry it properly.

Liked The perfect location for exploring the Shropshire Hills. Plentiful walks directly from the campsite: Carding Mill Valley, Three Fingers, Caer Caradoc +++. Lovely peaceful views over the fishing lake and into the hills beyond. 15 min easy walk into Castle Stretton which has everything that you may need for a fuss free break away. This is everything that we look for in a CL site.

Liked Quiet, views, easy walk into town. Clean, well maintained, water and electric on pitch. Pitches level and your choice to your orientation of parking, next time we'll take advantage of that.
Disliked Shower area was too cold, but it was zero degrees when we stayed. A heater would be a good idea.

Excellent pitch size. Right amount of pitches. Gorgeous scenery.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite (members only)
Liked The space of the pitch was amazing, loads of room for a caravan, awning and Land Rover. Views of the lake and surrounding areas are beautiful.
Disliked The shower shed was cool but the shower itself went cold quite quickly, this maybe due to it being solar powered and the time of year.

Cracking CL, large well equiped pitches, basic facilities, great views
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite (members only)
Liked Ease of access to site, preceded by good comunication from site owners, followed by a personal welcome on arrival and welcome booklet delivered in person to our caravan. No intrusive road noise during our stay, great sized pitch with water and electric hook up at the pitch, (grey waste - drains into hedgerow). Fantasic views of the fishing lake with a back drop of Caer Carodoc hill beyond.
Disliked Lack of water drainage from pitch surface (glad we didn't use the awning) we had two large puddles that gathered, ( although we do now know the water came from Storm Claudia !!). Long walk to the facilities, (they were basic, but clean and very useable however)
