Irfon Valley Pods and Camping

Μου άρεσε We live in the med and haven’t camped for 10 years. So the campsite was just what we wanted. Jerry the host was very welcoming. We had forgotten to pack towels and he so kindly lent us some.
The children loved the animals that were around and we loved watching the red kites in the morning.
We would definitely stop there again if ever in the area.

Μου άρεσε The setting was beautiful and an ideal set up.
Facilities were clean and ideal for a camping trip.
We said in the pod and it was really comfortable, a lovely size.
All staff were friendly and accommodating.
Lovely place and will definitely go back

Μου άρεσε Owners were lovely and accomodating. We left two nights early (no fault of the campsite) and they without asking refunded part of our original payment which I wasn't expecting.
Toilet, shower and washing up facilities were really good for a campsite of that size which is always a positive.
There was also a small "honesty shop" they had on site where you could pick up a few snacks and tea coffee etc. My kids loved this.
Animals and tyre swing were also a hit.
I appreciated the giant wheelbarrows that were available to transport things across the site.
Firepits were available which was handy as well fire wood to purchase.

Δεν μου άρεσε Very little. There was an issue with the electrics in the communal kitchen area so the kettle/microwave didn't work (there was a kettle in the honesty shop though so we managed ok)
Field was slightly smaller than expected but they limit pitches so overall that wasn't an issue, but we didn't play frisbee etc the first night when it was busier due to there being less space than thought.
The location is lovely but there is very little in the area, but that is what some people are after, just take it into account when booking.
It's also close to an army practice range which I hadn't realised. First night was quiet. Second night did have some noise from quite early in the morning.

The electric in the room with the fridge is now sorted. After investigation, a naughty earth wire was found to be the culprit!
Thankfully the Sennybridge training area is quiet most of the time - sorry they decided to play while you were here.

Μου άρεσε Location is wonderful with beautiful surroundings. Toilets and showers were very very clean, and the camping area had plenty of space. The team were very friendly and we were even greeted by cockerels wandering around the site when we woke up in the morning.
Would definitely recommend this site if you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing stay.

Μου άρεσε Beautiful place and lovely host. Washrooms were clean.. had issue with the heater but it was changed quickly. Nice place to relax with family and friends… would highly recommend.

Μου άρεσε Lovely quiet location. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Δεν μου άρεσε A little shop/fridge with basic provisions (including a beer) would make this place perfect.

I agree about the beer, but unfortunately that opens up huge licencing problems!
However, we are looking for a small fridge to go in the honesty shop to keep the cokes etc cool, and there is the big fridge in the room with the microwave and kettle.

Μου άρεσε My time in wales was super cute. This location was amazing for a chill, peaceful and doggy friendly place! The pods were so cute and the bbqs at night made the camping experience unique. Smores Always! The place had lots of activities for children too, which is amazing if travelling with younger kids! The owners were lovely and there was a lot of animals to see!

Having the nearest shop 5 miles away does have its drawbacks! We usually find phone signal is good on site, but it does drop out alot around the nearby hills!

Μου άρεσε Stayed here for 3 nights camping for Royal Welsh show. Lovely site. Clean toilets and shower block. Communal room with fridge and sockets ( included in price ) Fire pit ( logs available to purchase on site ) plus larger communal fire pit. Geese and alpacas on site which gives the place a lovely feel. There is even a little shop. Friendly and helpful owners.
