Branscombe Airfield and Camping

Μου άρεσε Lovely site with spacious pitches, we saw a couple of the small planes take off and land.
Staff were friendly, and the site and facilties very clean. A 15 minute walk down to the local pub.

Μου άρεσε Spacious pitch, EHU - flat, peaceful, clean, well kept & next to a very cute airfield for private small aircraft (shout out to RM Steve the airfield regular - who absolutely made our kids day).
Very close to the donkey sanctuary which is free!
Has a kids play area in the corner - not near the exit and is enclosed!

Δεν μου άρεσε Ground goes down to rock but they do say that in the description and advise to bring suitable pegs (we didn’t have any) - tent did stay in place though despite strong winds

Μου άρεσε Brilliant campsite. My daughter and I stayed for a night and we had a great time. We Very much recommend. Further more, you can get takeaway delivered to you 😀

Μου άρεσε Warm welcome from hosts. Great pitch sizes and facilities were very clean and well maintained. Good communication and additional directions given. Loved the runway and discussion from host re: history and set up. Pizza van on Friday was an unexpected bonus. Quiet site with great views

Μου άρεσε Super camping z ładnymi widokami, pierwszy raz widziałem samolot startujący z trawiastego pasa na campingu, można w ciszy wypocząć, blisko jest plaża, gdzie można pospacerować i się wykompać. Sanirtariaty czyste z gorącą wodą.

Super camping with lots of space, a wide area with a wide range of starting points for the camping trip, with a small area, a small plaza, a lot of space and space. Sanitary equipment for good health. Pozdrawiam @campingwizja

Μου άρεσε Lovely quiet site with spacious pitches and beautiful views overlooking the rolling hills of the surrounding areas. With little light pollution, the skies are dark to see a lots of stars on a clear night.

Weather permitting, small planes take off and land during the day and you can watch them from right at the end of the runway, which was a real treat watching them come in right over your head!

In the morning it was nice to wake up to birdsong, some friendly robins even stopping by to say hello outside our tent.

The bathroom, shower and washing up facilities are clean and well maintained and there's a little shop for your campsite essentials.

There was a small games room open until about 11 pm, as well as a dedicated dog walking area and children's play area for the young ones.

The owners Tracey and Chris are friendly and welcoming and happy to stop and chat when you walk by, or curious as to what light aircrafts will be around during your stay.

On arrival there was a pizza van serving delicious and reasonably priced pizzas campers who is there a couple of times a week

Μου άρεσε Lovely quiet well kept pitches. Secure off lead dog field. Clean and warm bathrooms. A plane took off over us whilst we were there so that was exciting. They had a pizza van there for Friday night too.

Μου άρεσε Lovely site, plenty of space. Grass was freshly mown and very short. Large dog exercise field mown to the same standard with lots of tennis ball’s provided. Toilets/showers and washing up facilities all clean and tidy. Owner lives on site and regularly walks around. Definitely one that we’ll be returning to.

Δεν μου άρεσε The narrow lanes around restricted where we were happy to walk to.
