Positiv Absolutely perfect location for the Old Man of Coniston hike (which is a must do if possible!) Perfectly positioned and exquisitely beautiful.

Negativ Unfortunately, similar to other comments, the only downside to this location is that there is nothing stopping people being loud into the early hours, as there is no one upholding the rules - to be fair, it's not really practical for anyone to do so. For me, the people in the neighbouring tent were awake until midnight, but on the far side of the field there was loud talking and drinking until 2am... I feel sorry for the campers closer to them!

Positiv Absolutely loved this campsite, and the food and beer at the pub is 10/10! Very quiet, surrounded by beauty. Definitely want to come back.
