Positiv The cleanliness. The site was immaculate and so were the shoers and toilets. Always plenty of hot water. The scenery is amazing The weather was also amazing

Negativ Reception was NEVER open The slope on the site made for a slightly difficult pitch and sleepy was awkward. The dogs on the farm next to the site, barked 24/7 and would put us off staying again The road noise There were also 2 XL Bullies on site , the rules specifically sad these breeds were not allowed on. They ran at my husband with our two Scottie dogs . They were off lead and not muzzled. The owner grabbed them apologised and said she was sorry they were not good at recall. It was terrifying.

Negativ Poor field maintenance. Grass was long Hedges all overgrown Hard to get plugged into electrics at the pitches on the edges nettles were surrounding the electric hook up points One sink to wash your dishes in for a massive site .. and it was always a mess as the taps were rubbish Two showers with out of order sign on during our visit No toilet paper left in any of the toilets Sinks in the toilets were tiny you could have a proper wash in them. Shower stayed on for c about 10 seconds . Light switched off whilst I was mid shower. Only appeared to become member of staff Charlotte running the whole site No security for v coming in and out of site anyone can just drive on and pitch up. Only one fresh water point on the whole site Drive into the site needs weed spray

Positiv Area and toilet block and v use of Silverdale Holgate. Great food

Negativ Exposure of the site . No protection from the gale force winds. Cramped into the corner of site . Far too many tents and cars . Kids screaming and playing ball near the car . Couldn’t hammer in tent pegs . Ground too hard built on quarry
