Positiv Great instructions received via email ahead of our arrival. We had a good size corner plot, which had a slope, so used our levellers. Well-maintained site with great facilities, the toilets and showers were super clean and well-maintained. It is close to the A55 so expect some road noise, but this was not a big issue for us. Wi-Fi worked well on most occasions. Fantastic views of Eryri, particularly in the afternoon sun, with the top of Yr Wyddfa visible in the distance.

Negativ Early morning dog barking from neighbouring property was a bit irritating.

Positiv We had a great 3 night stay at Portmeirion. The welcome was great with a very informative welcome sheet. The facilities are great and very clean. Access to the village outside day visitors opening time is awesome, giving you a completely different experience of the village. Well worth spending some time exploring Y Gwyllt (the woodland) and beach (watch the tides!). Access to the hotel swimming pool is a bonus. We had one day offsite exploring, but it was great to return to the tranquil village for an evening stroll. On our departure day we left the site and parked in the car park and went for breakfast in the village (you still have access ). Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and I’m sure we’ll be back.

Positiv Great pitch with excellent views of the countryside. Shower and toilets were nice an clean, although there was a limited number of them.

Negativ Only one sink for washing dishes. No grey water disposal.

Positiv Lovely small site with good facilities which have been further improved with new shower block and toilets. Very friendly staff who guide you to your pitch and explain the facilities. The food kiosk and the very friendly team is great, especially as the weather was very windy during our stay, so it was great to have this option for food.
