Positiv Relaxing park in a beautiful setting. The visit from the pizza van was a great addition.

Negativ The park is a couple of miles walk into Bala or to the lake. This would have been fine, but the road has no pavement and is really busy and fast which makes walking risky. Also the toilet block could do with an update so it can cope better with so many campers.

Negativ The site itself. It’s not ‘Rustic’ it’s scruffy, neglected and dirty. Facilities are not fit for purpose and look like they haven’t had a proper clean in months. And this place cost us £70 per night!!(Moho, 3 nights, electric,2dogs) Most expensive place we’ve ever stayed. Won’t be back.

Positiv Quiet site, well looked after. Great welcome and free balls for the dogs, which they loved. Nice little river for the dogs to cool down and just a mile across fields into the lovely little village.

Positiv Spotless site, lovely welcome, great location for the beach and New Quay. Bar open weekend evenings with fair priced drinks. Dog wash really useful for sandy dogs 👍

Negativ WiFi was very intermittent but didn’t spoil anything for us

Positiv Lovely site 😊 Very well kept, spotless facilities, great pitches. Only 1m from Hay on Wye. Friendly welcome. Good WiFi Loved the herb planters, wonderful idea.

Negativ The site is next to a busy road, but this can’t be helped and wouldn’t stop us from visiting again. It does go quiet at night.

Positiv Shady pitches and clean facilities

Negativ Nice site but not easy to walk to town/restaurants/supermarket as need to drive or cycle.

Positiv Spotless site! Very tidy. Great location for a walk along the coast to Rhos on sea.

Negativ The site is sandwiched between a busy dual carriageway and a train line so there is inevitably noise from both but you get used to it. It’s a tad expensive when there are no additional facilities.

Positiv Its location close to the town and for Mont Ventoux. Basic but cheap.

Negativ Water was barely warm for washing up and a shower.
