Positiv Lovely views. Welcoming host. Nice and peaceful.
Negativ The stands are really uneven. We had electric so that part the site provided extra blocks to lift.

Positiv Not much except the size of the pitch.
Negativ The VERY SMALL swimming pool to the ratio of visitors is to say the least, ridiculous. 4 days and I couldn't get a space for our grandchildren. We were advised to come early and stand in a queue for over an hour. I asked people how long they been waiting as, at my age cannot stand in a queue for that long without being in absolute agony and there where loads of grandparents who had their grandchildren with them at this site. To top it off, only a handful of people allowed in at a time. And worst is you only allowed to go in to swim for 45 minutes. Worth it....NO
The arcade soft play area, I was quite surprised with that however my grandson need the toilet and being too young (2yrs 9mnth) go in on his own, I accompanied him. The stench that hit my nostrils was wrenching my stomach. Even my grandson said, yuck this smells yucky.
I didn't take him in there, we went outside behind the buildings bushes. I'm NOT standing or allowing that little boy to stand in other people's urine and wet toilet paper under our shoes.
Seriously rethink the cleaning schedule as the one you using is NOT working.
I can honestly say, this IS the WORST campsite I ever stayed at.
Too many statics, caravans and motorhomes on this site for the entertainment, games, pool, well all areas really.
My grandchildren were disappointed and I now feel like the one that let them down.
Thanks for that.

Positiv We were a few families and stayed in tents and one family in the static.
I have NEVER seen a cleaner toilet, shower & washing up area as spotless as this place. Not even in Europe, Entire UK, or South Africa. No cobwebs or wet floors. Even the taps were shining.
The kids play area was brilliant and kept all the kids busy for hours.
The food and bar also a massive big treat. Chicken burger and halloumi fries were better than some of the restaurants I've eaten at and the bar had a good selection. Also not noisy around the bar area.
It's not a Massive site but it's totally enclosed so no fear of kids getting out. Dog field also brilliant and spacious. The staff/owners are very welcoming and friendly and helpful.
There is so much to do around the area too. Museums, lavender gardens, spitfire museum too and beaches. Worth the very little they charged per day for the stay in both tent with ehu and the static. Incredible time had by all in our big family group. We will all definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely hassle free stay.
Negativ I honestly cannot think of a single thing that needs fixing or changing.

Positiv Clean showers and toilets. Always had toilet rolls in.
Clean washing up area.
Beautiful views of mountain range
You can choose where you want to to pitch. Spacious, yet it wasn't a busy period so definitely not cramped while we were there. Might be different in school holidays.
Car can be parked next to our tent, a plus as we are getting older now to still have to carry everything a distance away.
It has the most beautiful walking trails and forest walk within the site. The forest walk had benches and tables to sit at. So much effort has gone into making this forest walk absolutely amazing. It even has a walled garden and a tree that's over 200 years old. Worth the visit just for this walk.
Lovely place all in all.
Negativ The ON buttons of the showers. You have to press it in several times while showering as it switches off. It's a nuisance for a shower and fine for a basin. Surely people don't linger long in a shower, it's not a soak in a bath tub.
And to be honest, this is the ONLY thing I could be negative about.
And thinking about it
Water saving is good for the planet, so I shouldn't complain .
