Positiv Not many people staying there & site not at all manicured, both definitely a bonus

Negativ Composting toilets were a strange set up whereby they were emptied, this meant they got quite full before they were attended to. Same went for the black rubbish bins

Positiv Laid back, peaceful back to basics camping. Plenty of space.
Location was perfect. Rural yet not too far from shops ect.
Lovely warm welcome from Mac too.
We will be back.

Negativ We didn’t have any dislikes. Perfect for us. However if you prefer a club house and electric hook to compost toilets. This may not be the place for you.

Positiv We had a beautiful experience at this campsite. We loved the location and how quiet it was. They had some compostable toilets, which added to the experience, as I had never seen them before (surprisingly, they did not smell). They had some lovely pigs in the forest and goats and sheep in the entrance. It was the perfect camping trip for a family. We met some of the staff, and they were very nice. I would 100% recommend this place.

Negativ The campsite allows for bigger tents. It might be why we were alone there. It is a shame if you are not getting people because they think their tents are too big for their pitch. Also, adding a second tent in one pitch was very expensive, even if it is a small tent for one more person. Again, it is a shame if you are missing clients because of this. We had a lovely time seeing the pigs. We thought of letting you know so you can get more customers. We honestly loved it there.

Positiv Spacious camp site, even though it is in a large meadow there is a lot of space so feel secluded. Lots of the other campsites we drove past had people heavily camped together like a festival so I much prefer a spacious site which this was.

Warm shower and compostable toilet.

Great view of the stars whilst having a campfire and access to some lovely walks down to the river.

Staff are very friendly and helpful

Negativ No handwashing at the toilets. We had hand sanitizer but worth being aware of.

Negativ Toilet was smelly. Outdoor sink for washing hadn't been cleaned. Nor had the shower.

Positiv Very quiet and peaceful site. The tranquility really is beautiful. We had a really chilled weekend there in June 2025. Pembrokeshire is a very beautiful part of Wales with it's large National Park. We were greeted at the entrance to our pitch by Mac who was very friendly with plenty of good advice. Well spaced pitches giving you the feeling of privacy. Most pitches also have picnic tables.

Negativ Composting toilet, although adequate not my idea of a nice toilet, luckily we had a portable toilet in our campervan. The gnats and flies were a bit of a problem, but then that's nature for you.

Negativ The shower was very small. Struggled to get dry and dressed in the allocated space.

Positiv Simple, peaceful, beautiful. We had the lush green meadow to ourselves, and we're disturbed only by a tawny owl calling from a tree near our tent.

Negativ Kitchen area a bit run down. Only one shower. Dry toilets in need of a good clean.
