Positiv It’s very rustic and gives you a feel of wild camping.
The car park is close to the campsite.

Negativ The campsite has NO on site facilities,
The outside toilet is across the road at the closed pub in their garden.

Pub closed, despite website saying it would be open.

Positiv Nothing, please don't book here. I would recommend the place is removed from pitchup site.

Thankfully the closed pub did have an outside toilet.

Negativ Field is tiny, Poor condition in general. Toilet, shower is a broken shed, shower is gas powered, thank God there was no gas, as the flue is in the show shed.

Pub looks permanently closed now. Should be removed from pitch up.

Positiv A lovely small and quaint campsite. The surrounding areas are beautiful and great if you want to go for a hike or a peaceful walk.

Negativ Really disappointed that the pub opposite was closed, the nearest one if you were walking is about an hours walk. No access to the toilet which is appalling and no site of the owners. Bins were overflowed so it doesn’t seem very well maintained which is such a shame due to the lovely nature of the site itself.

Quite disappointed overall but made the best out of it and took in the surroundings. Definitely recommend that the owners are more tentative and perhaps some communication wouldn’t go amiss, especially with the pub closure and toilet access.

Positiv Absolutely stunning location, wonderful to have fires. Can walk down to the river easily. Campsite is very very pretty and the tree cover means even in the rain you can be outside.

Negativ The pub was closed the time we were there so didn't meet the landlady unfortunately to put these problems to her so perhaps she doesn't know, but the showers weren't working the entire time.

Positiv Nice location by a small river with easy access to a hiking path alongside.

Negativ Shower was broken and we weren't informed of this. Toilet paper wasn't stocked so we had to cycle over a mile and a bit down the road to nearest shop. Campsite was a little small and very full, it was hard to find a suitable pitching location. Bins weren't emptied and were overflowing

Positiv Absolutely nothing, we ended up leaving.

Negativ Toilet and shower were not working. Pub wasn’t very welcoming, no food and it closed at 6 pm. It was a car park on a main road with a camping field behind it. There was a large group of young people in the field who were gearing up for a big night.

Negativ The toilet facilities , one toilet across the road for the whole campsite.
The attitude of the lady who told me the bar was shut before I even had chance to say hello.
The rowdy group of young adults who drank and partied all night resulting in me having to leave the campsite and pack up in the middle of the night .

Positiv Semi wild location

Negativ Landlady running it was rude and blunt, website says they offer food but they don’t. Campsite was packed and shower didn’t work (boiler was literally held together with duct tape). Pub associated only takes cash, and has localism.

Positiv Cozy environment and site - not very large but a decent space. Firepits and fires welcomed. Nice landlady.

Negativ Showers not working and the toilet camp side was padlocked, this meant having to cross an A road in order to use the toilets at the pub. Loud music and partying till the early hours but not necessarily the fault of the landlady, a check after pub lockup to enforce noise rules would have helped here.
