There was everything we needed in terms hot showers clean toilets and washing areas.
Overlooked a lovely field and set amongst picturesque villages.

Positiv: De rust. De omgeving. Corina, de eigenaresse. Zeer vriendelijk, zeer hulpvaardig en goede tips voor dagjes uit. Het sanitair. En we waren erg blij dat we de laatste nacht konden upgraden naar de heerlijke B&B voorziening met schone kamer, geweldige douche en heerlijk ontbijt. De kerkuil die iedere avond een show opvoerde als hij zijn diner ging zoeken.

Negativ: Alles was heerlijk, de veelgenoemde trein is precies zo lastig als je hem zelf maakt. Je hoort hem en 4 seconden later is hij weer weg. Laat je niet afschrikken.

Positiv: Smallish site, very near railway line but didn't bother us, very friendly owner very helpful with information about wildlife, showers and toilets very clean great washing up facilities and a washing machine if needed. Good connection for WiFi.

Positiv: We booked Honeysuckle Homestead for three nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Corina was an excellent host with great communication, sent us a welcome text on the morning of our visit and greeted us on arrival. We found the site was an excellent base for us, dog friendly, lovely walks nearby with lots of wildlife (Corina introduced us to the local Owl which was lovely to watch flying over the field). There is lots of places to visit close by, we went to Old Wardour Castle and Stonehenge. The facilities on site are good, clean toilets and good sized shower room, washing up facilities are available and WiFi across the site. We will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to friends.

Positiv: The view of the national park from the tent pitches. Peaceful place to stay. Yes there is a railway right next to the pitches but the trains did not run as much as people have said on previous reviews and it did not bother us at all.
Staff really friendly and helpful!

Negativ: The toilets could have been a bit cleaner as well as the shower room.

Positiv: We used the site as a stopover before heading off on our longer holiday. It was great for what we needed and good location to the new forest.

Negativ: The site does need more showering/toilet facilities.

Positiv: Site by national trust land to walk & watch birds..saw a barn owl very close.
Pleasant owner

Negativ: Could do with another toilet and shower as when busy have to queue even though some people have facilities in unit.
Train passing by is rather noisy albeit briefly

Positiv: Before I’d even got to this campsite Corine had reached out to me so I already felt welcomed. The camping field is small but pitches are really spacious. I was lucky enough to be next to the most glorious field that was teeming with wildlife and the most amazing views across fields and meadows to the beautiful National Trust property of Phillip’s House. The field is accessed directly from the campsite and provided a wonderful off lead walk for the dogs.
The facilities at the campsite are lovely. Loos and shower are spotlessly clean and warm. I particularly liked the spacious shower unit which is self contained with a loo and sink as well as a shower. This would be especially good for people travelling with younger children.
Corine could not have been more helpful and was always available to chat, answer questions and problem solve.
The site itself is in a great location for exploring Wiltshire. There is loads to do nearby and it’s wonderful to spend the day out and to come back to the peace and tranquility of Honeysuckle Homestead. I will definitely be returning to this site when I need to get away from it all and unwind.

Negativ: The only thing that would improve this site was having a shop within easy walking distance. Not the campsites issue I know but it would have been handy to be able to pick up some basic stuff without having to hop in the car. The nearest shop is only a 5 minute drive so not really an issue. I’m just not that organised.
