What customers say
Quiet countryside setting w/ National Trust park access for walks. Praised for friendly owners, clean facilities, and value. Some note railway noise, but most find it manageable. Hardstanding pitches and extra restrooms could use improvement at peak times.

Had a good stay and got plenty of rest.
Powered cement/asphalt campsite
Liked Lovely quiet site, plenty of room, suitable toilets and shower facilities. Check in was good.
Disliked A little too isolated for us but not their fault of course.

Poor site, visually unattractive with grubby toilets and showers
Powered cement/asphalt campsite
Liked Field behind campsite.
Disliked Both toilets and showers were grubby. Shower (with no toilet) smelled of urine. Very little that was visually pleasing on site. One big gravel area for pitching with no separate pitches. Pitching was wrong way round so that instead of enjoying view of field, we had view of toilets and decrepit caravan opposite.

Basic, but peaceful with everything you need.
Powered cement/asphalt campsite
Liked Peaceful, unfussy site. The railway line runs along side but doesn't cause any issues. Corina was very kind and helpful when Google maps had an unfortunate wobble and roadworks everywhere made us a little late. Basic but everything you need.

Fab little site. Big up Corina 🥰
Powered grass campsite
Liked Corina is lovely, friendly and helpful. Very peaceful site. Obviously the trains are next to site but we didn't mind at all. It's pretty obvious from reviews and the map so if it's going to bother you go somewhere else....not the site's fault the track is there! Clean facilities. Couple of little garden areas to relax in. Check out The Wyndham, just over a mile away....fab food and lovely people.
Disliked Poor Corina is pushing string up a hill.....too much to do and so needs periodic help to keep on top of the weed situation. She's always cheerful though and she does a great job with everything else.
New mop heads needed regularly 🤢
