What customers say
This is a small, friendly campground with clean, well-maintained facilities, including heated washrooms. Sites are spacious and level, with many guests appreciating the proximity to National Trust parkland for walks and wildlife spotting. The location is considered excellent for exploring the area, with a good local pub nearby. While some guests noted the adjacent railway line, most found the noise infrequent and not disruptive. Liked Not a lot to say really, the lady that ran the site was very friendly, when initially turned up I honestly thought it was a car park, there were 2 caravans already in situ, one was absolutely filthy with weeds growing around it, the other was ok, had a VW T4 for sale, it was not a welcoming site to see, there were pitch was ok just a stoned area, the toilet areas were warm, fairly clean but could be a lot better, I had to wipe the washing over in the cleaning up area as god knows how anyone could of done their washing up in there, looked like it has never been wiped over, walked to the local pub which was nice.
Disliked Facilities, ideal as a stopover to be totally honest, could not stay for longer than 2 days, best thing was the weather, right near to a train line
