Powered cement/asphalt campsite
Liked Field behind campsite.
Disliked Both toilets and showers were grubby. Shower (with no toilet) smelled of urine. Very little that was visually pleasing on site. One big gravel area for pitching with no separate pitches. Pitching was wrong way round so that instead of enjoying view of field, we had view of toilets and decrepit caravan opposite. Train line runs literally next door

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked The local walks, the view of the sea, it was quite quiet, the distance to the coast, the cleanliness of the site. The staff, especially, in the clubhouse, were friendly and helpful
Disliked The visibility of the bright red and bright green large greens. Something could be done - either move them or camouflage them a bit. We eat once, in the clubhouse, burger and chips, and it wasn’t great.

From the manager: Hi Steve Thank you for taking the time out to write a review. We do really appreciate the feedback. This site was relaunched as Shaftesbury Country Touring in May this year under new ownership, so very little time for improvements due to the campsite being so busy. We will be looking at improving this site next season, with the additional facilities that you have mentioned. I don't think we envisaged how popular camping and this campsite would become this season, we aimed to make sure that everyone enjoyed their stay especially after the last 18 months of disruption Thanks Carl & Steph
