Positiv Chap was helpful and the immediate surrounding by our pitch were ok.

Negativ Not a very good appearance on arrival.
A pile of bricks and scrapped cars. Once pitched up all was fine and nice surroundings. Been asked for more money once got home as it seems electric was extra and we hadn’t been made aware of this.

Positiv Had a great stay at Thorn Golf Centre, where we camped for two nights. The price was very reasonable, and the site was lovely and quiet, which made for a really relaxing stay. The owner was extremely friendly, accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were happy and comfortable.

Really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and how easy-going everything was. We’d definitely stay again and would happily recommend Thorn Golf Centre to anyone looking for a peaceful and reasonably priced place to camp. 👍

Positiv Excellent value for money. Cheapest round of golf we've ever played, its a great golf course for kids and beginners. A relaxed countryside feel with beautiful walks. Nice driving range and crazy golf too. Malcom was very accommodating and welcoming. Will definitely be passing through again.

Negativ The 9A bus stop is hard to find, it a discrete block of concrete after the Donkey sanctuary turn

Positiv We had a great stay here! We were a little unsure when we realised we were actually camping on part of the golf course...but Malcolm was absolutely lovely and advised us of the best spot to suit us for the week - and he wasn't wrong. We had a really sheltered, quiet spot, not too far from the water tap or the toilet block.
It was fun watching the golfers play past and we even had a go ourselves. The driving range, crazy golf and the course itself were great!
The toilets are clean, the showers are hot, can't fault them at all. The washing up stations are spacious and clean too.
Such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Anything we needed, we felt we could nip in to reception and just ask, everyone was very friendly.

Positiv The owner was super friendly and really helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The campsite had everything needed and having no check in / out times was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again

Negativ Everything, this is the worst site, so bad we did not stay. The field we were shown to had nothing but old vehicles a metal toilet and lots of rubbish. No stars for this site

Positiv Malcom was very welcoming, even though I got stuck in traffic on the way down he was very understanding of us arriving late. A lovely campsite and very easy to get to places like sidmouth and Exeter. Nice area to camp and it was nice to have proper toilets and showers available.

Positiv Lovely peaceful, no frills site. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful, the site had everything we needed to be comfortable and the location was very convenient.
We didn't bring the firepit with us due to the dry weather, but definitely will next time. Having the choice where to pitch and being able to park by the tent is always appreciated. The ground was nice and level and there was plenty of options for shade so we were very happy with our spot even if it did mean a bit of a trek to the facilities.
Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
